18.01.2022 Snails have moved into our veggie patch and have been attempting to feast on our growing crops, but it’s no challenge for our pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes!! On Friday they made a natural snail repellent from garlic. Take a look how they put it together, from raw gloves to a finished spray that’s safe for children, the snails are now in search of a new (and probably not as tasty) home!! Garlic, when mixed with water releases a defense compound called allicin and i...s a fantastic natural way of keeping snails and slugs away from growing veggies and plants. Once again our pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes have amazed us with their creativity and imagination
