25.01.2022 Sunset after yesterday’s rain. All up the Chookhouse has had 100mm of beautiful rain.

Experience camping without having to pack everything including the kitchen as everything is supplied for you. Come and enjoy our onsite accommodation.... Welcome to our new onsite accommodation for a couple or for a family of 5. All you need is your drinks and food. Come and experience all the animals with out having to pitch your tent or set up your camper/caravan up. All the hard work is done for you.

21.01.2022 Late season goslings, first day out in the big yard

21.01.2022 Exciting feed time for our campers yesterday afternoon. Our Boer nanny wasn’t with the crew. Can we go on a goat hunt?’ said one big kid camper. Down the paddock to find our precious Knees, sure enough kids on the ground. Eager hands raised when asked who wanted to carry one of the newborns back to the night shed. Knees and her twins doing very well this morning.

20.01.2022 The Chookhouse got a little wet at lunchtime today. We have had some good steady rain before today and we now have green lawn. The mower will be in full swing in the coming days.

20.01.2022 Huge surprise in the chook yard today. I thought I knew where all my hens where sitting - obviously not. This Mummy appeared with 13 goslings. I do feel she may have stolen another clutch of babies to be with her family.

03.01.2022 Big shearing day at the Chookhouse this morning. 3 Alpacas and Muscle’s the Dorper ram. Took the fantastic Shane Bird from Kingaroy to do all 4 in about an hour, fleece, toenails and teeth. Our young Febbie getting up close and personal with one of our guests. It will all happen again next year.
