23.01.2022 Winning is always nice, but far more important are good sportsmanship and learning from the experience - especially the losses.

20.01.2022 Hi all I hope you are all keeping safe and healthy during the COVID19 virus pandemic. While classes at Choong-Moo will continue to run for anyone who wishes to continue to train, some changes will be implemented to try and limit the spread of the virus.... Students (and parents) should stay at home if they are feeling even slightly ill or if anyone in their household is unwell or is in isolation. If a student looks sick while at training, parents will be called and asked to take them home. This is in the best interest of all students. Measures will be taken to make sure all equipment is throughly cleaned and safe for use. That being said, certain restrictions will be in place when using equipment which will only be handled by instructors. While Taekwon-do is a contact sport, until instructed otherwise, students and instructors will not engage in contact during training. This includes but is not limited to sparring, step sparring and self defence. Students are asked to adhere by a few basic hygiene rules: - Please do not share drink bottles - Please make sure you wash your hands throughly before and after class - If you need to cough or sneeze, please do so into your elbow or a tissue then dispose of immediately and wash your hands - Please make sure you have a clean dobok - Do not use bubblers, please bring your own drink bottle Do not touch any other student for any reason (yes this includes hugs and hand shakes). Finally, please notify me immediately if any student (or member of their household) returns a positive test to COVID19. I am aware these restrictions may make it hard to train, however I hope you all understand and can get onboard with doing our part to limit the spread of the virus. The mock grading will continue as planned tomorrow night. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. Kind regards Jordan Steele Director Choong-Moo Taekwon-do Academy 0447 677 966

15.01.2022 Registration has been extended by a week! If you haven't already registered, get in quick to avoid late fees!

12.01.2022 If anyone is interested in competing in the 2020 United Queensland Championships. Our good friends at McNae’s Martial Arts & Fitness will be hosting in Rockhampton on the 9th of May 2020.

12.01.2022 Dear all Following the increased measures taken by the ACT and Australian governments to reduce the spread of Corona virus, Choong-Moo Taekwon-do classes are cancelled, effective immediately. The term 1 grading is also postponed until further notice. We hope to reopen next term, however this will depend on further health advice.... This is obviously an extremely disappointing situation, however the health and well-being of our students is paramount. We thank you for your understanding and hope to see you/ your children in the not too distant future. Depending on how long this shut down lasts, I will be investigating possible online training for those that are interested. Please ensure that you continue to practise at home where and when you can to ensure you don’t lose or forget anything. I will be contactable for any questions or assistance with any at home training. To ensure that all members receive this message, it would be appreciated if you could like this post. Kind regards Jordan Steele Director Choong-Moo Taekwon-do Academy 0447 677 966
