24.01.2022 To all our snow sports and mountain adventure enthusiasts, We love the snow season as much as you do. If not even more. And just like you, we are navigating ou...r way through the dynamic and ever changing challenges that COVID-19 is presenting. The resort, it’s industry partners and stakeholders are working with health authorities and governments around their advice in relation to ways to ‘flatten the curve’. In doing so, the prospect for a more certain future and clarity around resuming normality in our lives can occur sooner, rather than later. As such, our priorities are to ensure the safety, health and well-being of our community, employees and you, our guests and visitors, as we focus on the balance of the summer season and as we head into winter. Trust us, no one loves seeing our gorgeous alpine village covered in snow and the resort full of people having an amazing time, more than we do. It is the reason we do what we do. We and our partners are currently preparing as we normally would in preparation for the snow season. That we can confirm. However, just like every season before, we can’t tell you how much snow is going to fall and whenit too is one of the many unknowns at the moment. We would request that as we work with all these parties to gain certainty on the outlook for the season, we would greatly respect your flexibility and understanding of the complexities and priorities. We can assure you, that as soon we are able to, we will give you the best news we can. 19.01.2022 And the ideas are bubbling for a complete redesign of Room C in the next few years. Ah Room C, the old honeymoon suite before we got so busy that we had to put some bunks in it so it could sleep 4 instead of 2. (And yes the bed tax also increased in case anyone from Resort Management is reading this!). The only room with a bath for a long time. No more honeymooners for this room, but sometime soon parents will be able to smoochy woochy in the privacy of their own space away from the kids.
