16.01.2022 Throwback Thursday to where it all began!

15.01.2022 First coat on a new model - The Pearliemaster - built on a composite blank, it has a fairly soft tip so as not to rip hooks out of a pearlies soft mouth, but a heap of power in the middle and butt section to turn larger fish and handle larger sinkers and rigs. Built with Alps H/D S/S guides with zirconium inserts and Alps tri-seats for comfort in the hand. Bound in simple but smart colours of black with multiple gold trims. I’m starting to build a few stock rods on the blanks I build the most and will post them I get them done - this will be one. PM if you are interested.

10.01.2022 State of origin Maroon colours for this CR4126 whiting slayer. Goes well with the cherry red blank.

06.01.2022 A recent build on a Neritica blank and matching Alps componentry. Rated at 6-10kg, it is designed as an offshore plastics rods for our reefs targeting snapper. Built out in matching maroon colours as a tribute to a mighty origin win.

06.01.2022 Rob with an unexpected addition to a mixed bag of snapper and pearlies - geez these things pull hard! Tried out the Gama o'shaughnessy pattern hooks today floatlining and they worked a treat!

05.01.2022 Late season snapper, taken float lining with gamakatsu gangsters proving the undoing. Still a few fish around on this technique. Conditions were very hard to take.
