23.01.2022 Some unshown Pullets from this season, looking great now the shows have all finished.

22.01.2022 After setting up most of my breeding pens I find I still have some surplus quality breeding fowls. Hence I need to move a few more on and have Blue, Black and Splashed bantam Orpingtons for sale. Some are a little feather pecked and the are priced at $50 each while the others in show condition are $75 each. If you are interested please call me on 02 6772 9365 after dark to discuss. Sammi's Pet Express is coming through Armidale late this week heading south if that helps. There are also some large Blacks and Blues available and a trio of Large Buffs too.

18.01.2022 My 3 year old Black Pekin Ck nicknamed "Bert" after my good mate and well known auctioneer and colourful poultry personality Bert Hewitt from Gunnedah. Not surprisingly this male has sired many quality birds for me over the past two years.

15.01.2022 Had a memorable day at the NEEPA annual show yesterday winning Supreme Bird of the Show with a Blue Pekin Pullet. This is the third time I've won Best in Show since the Club's inception and the last time was 20 years ago!!!! But well worth the wait!!! As most you know how I'm mad about blue coloured fowls and they have become something of a speciality. So you can understand my excitement at winning such a prestigious show with a coloured bird from almost 850 exhibits. I also ...picked up Ch Heavy SF Btm (with the Blue Plt) as well as Reserve in the same section with a Black Pekin Plt and Runner Up Heavy SF large with a Black Orpington Ckl. I also collected Best other than Black or White SF Large with a Blue Orp Ckl and the same award in the bantams with the Blue Pekin Plt. Absolutely stoked about the day and had my grandson helping too which made it even better, although he seems to love the hardfeather breeds not my beloved SF birds!!! Anyway at least he's as keen as mustard and hopefully will continue is this great hobby. I hope to post some pics in the next couple of days. See more

12.01.2022 My big black Ckl from the champion large Orp pair who sold for $800 at the National last Saturday. One of his brothers also sold extremely well being knocked down for $450!!! I was knocked down too with these prices!

05.01.2022 One photo didn't publish for some reason, so here she is!!

05.01.2022 A few shots of my champion girl!!! The middle pic was taken this morning in bright sunlight which has washed out the colour a little but you can see her depth and roundness. The other shots were taken this evening and all she wanted to do was squat down ready for bed. You can see some of the trophies (and the gold watch!!!! for Best in Show) that she and my other birds won at the show. Thanks to everyone who has sent congrats and I will post some pics of the other birds soon.

Bows can be personalised with your own bird if you send a high resolution image to us to be re-sized to suit the centre badge. Come on all you men, isn't it time to show your feminine side!!
