10.01.2022 Hey All, Just wanted to let people know what the actual mortgage pause repayments mean. So if you defer your payments on your mortgage it is actually debt capitalisation. What this means is that you pay interest upon the interest etc. So the size of your mortgage actually increases at the end of the deferred term.... You then will need to catch up on those payments at some stage and it appears as though a lot of people don’t actually realise this. If you have been unfortunate to have lost a job or that your circumstances have simply changed as the result of this poxy virus, then the best action to take is to talk to your mortgage broker. If you don’t have one I am happy to help. For some people it may just be a matter of having another look at what you have and potentially refinancing, to put you in a better position which is a good thing to do at anytime. As with anything getting the right advice is paramount and especially so in uncertain times. Stay safe and take care.

07.01.2022 Damn you COVID-19! You made me get off my bot bot and go for a run which I don’t know if that was foolish, brave or stupid. Managed to drag two of the kids along and just got my arse handed to me on a platter from a 9 and 12 year old!... Deadset was blowing like a cyclone and sweating up a storm, might have to park myself back on that lounge me thinks... Stay safe and well people.
