25.01.2022 We received some sad news this morning, we lost one of outlaws keen supporters. David (from Melton) who lost his battle with cancer this morning. Our thoughts are with wife Jan & son Dan and family. The outlaw crew will miss his infectious enthusiasm!

25.01.2022 The Outlaw Crew has a wonder new addition.... Junior Outlaw driver (also the youngest female 100 mile per hour champion) Georgia & Ben (along with Grandfather) are proud to introduce Lola Kat Palmer Bryan 7.3 lb arriving into the world on 18th July 2018. Congratulations to everyone

24.01.2022 Just a quick update! The new engine ran well, had to shut down due to a problem with the oil scavenge! We are working very hard this week to be ready for this ...weekend down at granton! Congratulations to Darren Robinson on the win!

23.01.2022 We had a great day at the Rosevears Spectacular on Saturday! It was a good close day racing in all classes, Cody Marshall in Aftershock showed the way in the juniors. Then Brooke Flakemore went around the outside of Lewis Deegan in Deegan Marine but Lewis came back to take the win in the 25mph class King of the River! Then in the 80mph class King of the River Trent Purton in Modified running a power pipe on his egg beater was going well and no one could catch him! Then the Unlimited final, the clash of a couple of Tassies blown boats! Shockwave, Nigel Palmers new outfit qualified in front of Jeff Jago in Deception. Shockwave won King of the Rive easily with Chris Palmer in Jnr Outlaw running down Deception for 2nd and Mark Jakins in Hunts Heating (F2) coming in 3rd. Was a good day had by all, we look forward to next season!

21.01.2022 Just doing some last minute prep work helping out the opposition, Craig Bailey!!

20.01.2022 Take two for the outlaw crew, chief mechanic Phil had a big week this week! Fired the motor up today after changing the whole oil scavenge system in the engine. We will test tomorrow in hobart if we make it! Had a blow out in the bmw towing jnr outlaw. Just waiting for another tow vehicle, then we will start our three hour plus journey to hobart! Happy days!

20.01.2022 As everyone is aware of the devastation that the bush fires are causing around the country, we at Palmers Carwash are hoping to contribute in a small way, this Saturday the 11th we are holding a fundraising day. 100% of all money taken from Palmers Carwash, Hand wash, dog wash and vacuums will be directly donated to the Red Cross as nominated by the Tasmanian Fire Service and Volunteers to assist throughout Australia. Any further donations will be accepted as well. We appreciate your support!!

16.01.2022 OUTLAW REBUILD UPDATE: Our boat builder repair man Malcolm Jamieson flew in from New Zealand last weekend to meet his dad Pete to start work on our burnt boat. They are making good progress! While we have Phillpot working on our engines and the painter and auto electricians on standby!... We will keep you posted!

16.01.2022 Outlaw crew now have a brand new member Grandson Leo John! Arrived this morning 7am ready to get out of hospital later that morning so Off Grandfather and crew headed to pick them up Everybody all good

16.01.2022 Dean Gleeson who came 3rd last time in Bite Me (crashed over the line) has taken the rumours serious that Mike Stock / Duff Daily are doing 168mph in their new boat!! This is Deans brand new boat The Fly!!

14.01.2022 An update from Chris and team! Well, Glenny and myself went on a boating business trip to the USA and Canada a couple of weeks ago, started in LA, San Diego and spent Independence day at San Diego beach! We quickly found out at a couple of the bars they dont understand our humour and you wouldnt believe it we just go pole position on the board walk and got kicked out. Then we slipped over to Florida Sarasota to support the Aussie offshore competitors Darren Nicholson in 222... Unlimited and Simon Eshawood in Pink Outboard Mancine Cosmetics. Darren pulled off a good Bradbury win but I will say he was right behind the 1st two boats, was a good win! Simons crew finished mid pack. We were very happy when the Kiwi entrant in division 2 came a good second! Florida had great weather and we met a lot of friendly / entertaining people and caught up with Mike Boon who I bought my 37-foot Outer limits off which was good with of course a few beers! We then shot up to Canada to Valley Field to support the Luptons and Dave Alexander in their GPs, what a great few days of racing! They put on a great show and have the respect of all the legend racers and engine builders and other teams! Good job Warrick, Ken, Jack, Dave and crew and the good bunch of kiwi supporters we had a beer with every day! We also bumped into a few Aussie racers Damian and Michelle Thurger and daughter, Paul Vella and Wayne Smith. Anyway, we spoke to Valley Field officials (thanks to Duff for introducing us) about bringing our show to the biggest boat racing show in the world. Theyll need a proposal put together looking at 4-6 from Australia and 4-6 from US, have spoken to Mike Stock & Duff Daily they are keen. I am keen to hear what the rest of our boat racing fraternity think! Let us know what you think! Chris & the Outlaw crew See more

14.01.2022 Outlaw V unleashed arm wrestle (modified ) Unleashed taps out! All in good fun! It was nice to win something over the weekend as we had a few major engine issues! We are working hard now to make sure that we will be reliable and competitive at the worlds in January!!

14.01.2022 One of outlaw followers had a bit of spare time put together this little number!

12.01.2022 Outlaw getting closer to being ready for the Devonport regatta first weekend in March!!

11.01.2022 Winners are grinners and the Outlaw Team are definitely grinning! We are looking forward to this weekend down at Granton for some more great racing!

11.01.2022 It was a great day at the Rosevears spectacular on the weekend! Chris driving Jnr Outlaw could only knock off one blown boat! His brother Nigel taking out the win and Chris coming second in the final!

10.01.2022 As you are all aware USA v Australia 2021 has been post poned until January 2022. Hopefully the uncertainty in the world at present will calm down by then. The time extension gives the Mike Stock team, time to sort out their new engine package. Outlaw time to sort out a new fuel system. The Stanleys, Nathan Barry, Rod McKay, the Constables, Pugsleys, Wallan, Scotty Paterson, get their new boats up running and on pace! Also, the extension gives the madness crew time to save? Bring on 2022!!!

10.01.2022 Well we had a bad day Thursday testing outlaw, we broke a rod. As its the 60th regatta we had to do something and fast! At 3pm we bought Shepard's spare new kB, he was generous enough to sell. Got Nathan Wyatt to do a 3hr mad dash to the ship, Chris had to pull all his contacts to get on! Nathan made it in the death knock and put the motor on the ship! The motor arrived yesterday morning and the fit out began, we now have the motor in the boat ready for connection. Of course... there is a bit more work to be done this morning! Now we are waiting for Scotty Patterson to fly over with the new oil pump belt this morning! hopefully testing this afternoon! Wouldn't have happened if Shepard didn't let Chris buy his very nice coffee table and Nathan doing the mercy run to catch the ship and Scotty flying the only oil pump belt over we could find. And most important all his good mates in boat racing! Thanks men! Hopefully we have a good run from now on!

10.01.2022 Outlaw is on the road! Just drove through Albury

09.01.2022 We are very pleased to say that we finished a race today!! Winning the final we definitely are grinning! Still a bit of work to do on the oil system but very happy with finishing and the bonus of beating an egg beater! A big thanks to chief mechanic Phil and all the Outlaw crew! Looking forward to a good day racing tomorrow! The victory dance is always good but we did miss our longest serving crew member Glenny!

09.01.2022 We are on our way to Adelaide for the Marj this weekend! Eventful start to trip already! We were loaded ready to go in line up to get on ship (Spirt of Tas )when we heard a noise ( which 10 min earlier Daughter Grace said sounds like you have a flat tyre when you drove passed I didnt pay much attention)! Yep flat middle tyre caused by internal sheet metal mods screws tore up tyre! Anyway put spare on Bathurst tyre change with borrowed gear from Brian Marshall and assistance ...from brother Nigel! Myself and Phillpot just made the sail last night thank goodness! Nothing beats a rush to start the trip! See you all in Adelaide! See more

08.01.2022 The Outlaw team has been busy working towards the January 2019 Australia vs. USA International Challenge! A lot of research and design work has gone into putting this new engine package together, hoping it has the speed and reliability to keep the USA teams honest!! We need to be ready and in top form for Mike Stock's new boat with Duff Daliy driving better than ever! Rumours coming out of the states after testing the new machine are that this boat is travelling bigger and be...tter than K999 the last winner of the International Challenge. Bring it on!!

06.01.2022 A message from Greg from Race prints brother: Gregs Funeral/Service - We have booked Bunurong Memorial Park 790 Frankston-Dandenong Rd Bangholme for 11.30am on Monday April 1st Hope to see everyone that can make it there Ta Brad (Gregs brother)... 04.01.2022 To make it easier, we have step by step instructions on how to purchase a subscription of the SportsFilm live stream of the races. Just remember that the action... starts at 11am on race days. It is an easy process and once the water settles, subscribers will be able to access an exciting download of the racing, with additional content to continue to enjoy well after the fuel is burnt.

01.01.2022 We are stoked to be adding a baby girl in July to the outlaw team! Congratulations Georgia and Ben! The wet weather buggered up the colour pink smoke but Chris still did a good burn out!

01.01.2022 Its the 60th Year of the Devonport Regatta!! It is looking to be a great roll up of boats with some tough competition! Dave Clark in Tuff E Nuff from Adelaide, Scotty Patterson in Turn it up with a new Blown Motor from Victoria and if all goes well Darren Robinson in Wild Child also from Victoria! Plus Nigel Palmer should be ready with his new blown motor in Shockwave! There will also be a good roll up for the other classes such as 105mph, 95mph, 80mph, 25mph & the juniors!!... Look forward to seeing you all there!! and don't forget to share your pictures with us!!

01.01.2022 Had a great start to our weekend in Adelaide for the Marj Watson qualifying in pole 1 with the fastest time and then we were winning the final when a fuel line split and the boat caught fire! Then 25 minutes out of Melbourne on our way back to catch the spirit chris had to change a tyre on the side of the highway but we made it in time! We are absolutely devastated but will be working hard to get back out on the water for the Devonport regatta in March to hopefully win the John Palmer Memorial 2 years in a row!
