24.01.2022 "Take Me Home" One of my favourite back roads, I often take this one on my way home from work.

24.01.2022 'Awaiting the Dawn' With the full moon behind me and the sun still about two hours away, the lake and trees are lit with a bluish silvery glow and the stars are still bright in the sky. 5:22 am on a very frosty morning.... Lake Bonney, South Australia. See more

23.01.2022 "Parallel Diagonals" Fresh crops coming up create interesting geometric patterns in the landscape.

21.01.2022 'Wall of Water' A bit of abstract work from a visit to Port Adelaide last Tuesday with Keith Broadbridge.

20.01.2022 "All Aboard" Gawler Railway Station at night. Long exposure with a train heading to the city.

16.01.2022 "One leg missing" Caught this one legged seagull perched on a boat out at Port Adelaide last week. Fired off a quick shot and got this neat little partial silhouette.

15.01.2022 "Time for pruning" The pruners are going through the valley at the moment and this one has probably already been done by now.

14.01.2022 Another image from last Tuesdays visit to Port Adelaide.

14.01.2022 "The Big Wet" Happened to be up the hill and caught this big rain cell just before it hit Gawler yesterday afternoon, about an hour before sunset.

11.01.2022 A different view of Harts Mill in Port Adelaide on a beautiful sunny spring afternoon.

11.01.2022 "Nature and the hand of man" An ancient tree stump laying in the corner of a field with a rusty but still functional old fence line running across it.

11.01.2022 One of the back roads behind where I live during golden hour.

11.01.2022 "Barossa Winter Wonderland" Only a few months ago these were dry, dusty paddocks up in the backroads of the valley. Rain is good.

10.01.2022 "I'm Watching You" Pelican on Lake Bonney.

09.01.2022 "Crossroads" Vines just starting to green up next to a field of crops almost ready for harvest.

09.01.2022 'What Silence looks like' Lake Bonney, South Australia. 4:39am

09.01.2022 "Front Yard, Back Yard" So picked up a second hand drone last week. Been playing around up in the back roads trying not to crash it. This shot shows what is basically my back yard dropping down into the valley and my front yard coming back up the other side.

08.01.2022 Been a little social media inactive for a few days as I've been busy with an installation plus, trying to build a website. Anyway, here's another shot of "The Sentinel"

08.01.2022 "Arrowhead" Another really cool rock formation I found in a little creek not far from home.

08.01.2022 "Vintage Cameras and Film Photography" I Recently acquired a vintage Voightlander Perkeo 1 camera so decided to run a roll of film through it to see how it worked. The camera takes 120 roll film, which is known as Medium Format (60x60mm negative). You can use colour film but I use Black & White for all my film photography, mostly because I want to start doing my own developing again. For a 70 year old camera I'm pretty happy with the results.

07.01.2022 "Crocodile Rock" Found this great little creek with plenty of water flowing through it about 10 minutes from home. Some really interesting rock formations in the water.

07.01.2022 'Sunrise Squared' Three images I decided to crop square simply for the symmetry.

05.01.2022 "They're Here" Streetlights in the fog last Monday morning look like U.F.O's chasing a car on Coventry road.

04.01.2022 Haven't posted in a while, Been busy with some family stuff. Here's two images of the same road on different days (and times, obviously). 'Back roads of the Barossa'

03.01.2022 "Nitty Gritty" Been editing most of the day. Some really interesting images to ponder over but this one just said "Share Me". Black and White edit from a really foggy morning about a week ago.

03.01.2022 "Rainy day, Inside play" Channeling my inner Saul Leiter on a wet miserable day not long past. Thought this made an interesting composition.

02.01.2022 "The tree over the road" Here it is again, That bloody tree. This one was taken in May this year, just as the crops were starting to come up.
