16.01.2022 WA be aware of what you are buying: If today’s headline in the Western Australia which reads Labor set for total control of our state does not cause fear or ...panic to people living in Western Australia nothing will. Remember, there is more to government the managing a pandemic. While there are a number of flaws in our current political system, one of the underlying benefits is by having an active and functional opposition (made up from a number of political parties), the governments decision-making is constantly being audited and more importantly they are held accountable for their decisions. The loss of or significant downsizing of opposition members in parliament creates a situation for bills, legislation and laws to be bullied, pushed or snuck through which may impact badly on the people the state and yes our freedoms our choices and our future. It would be fair to say that every person that has donated financially or offered assistance to the Labour Party will be silently standing in the corridors of parliament with their hands out awaiting pay back because this will be the time to get things through. Pay back that may not be in the states best interest. There has never been a time in our states political history when voting for One Nation is more important. Having a party that is committed to ensuring that the government acts in the people’s best interest is imperative.

Members of the Quad group of nations Australia, Japan, the United States, and India met yesterday and unanimously agreed to oppose any attempts by Beijing to alter the status quo in the Indo-Pacific region by force, including its use of its domestic coastguard fleet to harass foreign fishing ships in the contested waters of the South China Sea. And, with China making threats towards Taiwan, all four nations vowed to uphold the sovereignty of regional partners in the region.
