05.01.2022 70 Artists. 21 Recitals. 6 weeks. With Melbourne theatres still closed, over the next 6 weeks Melbourne Digital Concert Hall will take up a residency in Sydney at the Cell Block Theatre. Last weekend I had the joy of bringing together 21 different programmes that celebrates everything Sydney and Australia. Not only will this support 70 NSW musicians during this tough time but I hope it will bring comfort and a sense of community to so many of the MDCH family that are still in lockdown here in Melbourne. Tickets are now on sale and all proceeds go directly to the artists. Thank you to Don Harwin Create NSW and everyone at the National Art School for bringing an idea to reality in such a short period of time.
