10.01.2022 We have the best customers edition 42 867. We had a visit from Betty this morning. Betty turns 90 next month. Betty had the best story to share. For many years, her friend Roy used to empty the coins out of his pocket every Friday afternoon and give them to Betty. Betty put them in a box in her linen cupboard. Over the years, Betty forgot the box was there. She rediscovered the box over the weekend and it ignited fond memories of Roy, who has just recently passed. Betty carefully counted the coins, and brought them in to us and asked us to donate them to a local charity in honour of her dear friend Roy. Despite looking beautiful, Betty was a little camera shy, so we don't have a photo of her. But, here is a photo of some of the coins! We really do have the sweetest customers.
