24.01.2022 JM Drums is moving. I am in the middle of rebuilding my van and with having to pack and get ready to move I haven't had much time to work on drums. But I now have a wood turning lathe and have some fantastic ideas and beautiful timbers to create more one of a kind JM Snares. If anyone has any questions regarding any of the drums that have previously been posted up please don't hesitate to contact me. I also travel to Canberra 2 times every second weekend so can bring any up for trial and testing if anyone in the area is interested is seeing any. 22.01.2022 This big boy is a 14x8.5 inch beast. Made with 80+ year old Ironbark on the inside and gorgeous grained Stringy Bark outside it can go from the lowest lows to beefy highs. 20.01.2022 HERE IT IS!!! The first JM Drum kit has been delivered to its owner, The Merimbula School Of Music. This JM Kit consists of a 12"x 9 rack tom, 16"x 16" floor tom and 22"x 17" bass drum is made from Blackbutt with an Iron Bark centre ring and has been finished with a JM made green stain with a gold pearl laced beeswax at the owners request. It is accompanied with a 14"x 4.5" Blackbutt and Bloodwood JM Piccolo Snare.... Nick, the Director of the school, has already started to put to use recording and for teaching. 16.01.2022 This very solid Stringy Bark Snare is 14 x 5.5 and a full 15mm thick. Its beautiful grain really pops with the Black Nickel plated hardware including very hefty diecast hoops.
