19.01.2022 Dear all! In hope you're having a blessed Holy Week, I'd like to confirm that there will be Holy Communion service this coming Friday. Good Friday Service will commence at 19:00 and it will be in English language. It will be followed by an informal gathering in the church hall. ... 19.01.2022 This week, the Lutheran Church of Australia meets as one family in Rochedale, Brisbane, for the 2015 Convention of Synod. Bishop of the LCA, Pastor Mike Henderson, had this to say: "As the convention gathers in worship, hears Gods promises and celebrates the gospel, God is preparing our church for the even bigger questions to come. The world is rapidly changing. Current global events threaten to make the pace of change increase even more. Now is the time to learn once more w...hat it is to entrust our future to God, believe in his gospel, use his good gifts wisely and well, and follow the guidance of the Spirit who motivates us." 10.01.2022 Dear all! Mother's Day is coming, and we will be celebrating the wonderful gift of family on the second Sunday in May. It would be awesomely fantastic if you could all attend the service! :) However, knowing better!, I'd rather ask you if you could possibly indicate your attendance by sending me a PM or SMS (0430560724), so I have an idea if I should preach in English too. ... On a serious note though, it is rather a beautiful an occasion when we can all stand as one family and receive the the gift of forgiveness through His Holy Supper! Looking forward to seeing you all! Trusting you're all good and well, we'd like to invite you you our famous Saturday dinner that we (by default) like to call "Fundraising Dinner"... :)... It starts this coming Saturday at 18:00. In our attempt to be timely, this time around the food will be serve at 18:30! As with all things BalkanoSlovak, give or take a few minutes is absolutely essential for things to run smoothly! As we do know, the wait will well be worth it, for the ladies will go full throttle to prepare the food we've all grown to love and gotten so accustomed to!
