16.01.2022 Chris J Thomas is back in the building Industry, albeit in a slightly different realm. After spending years working with an amazing group of draftsmen, estimators, colour consultants as well as brilliant builders, tradesman and supervisors, I took a leap of faith and tried my hand at a different industry, to which in turn became industries. Since leaving the housing industry I have started, managed, directed or acquired a total of 11 companies across Australia and the globe ...specialising in property, franchising, sales & consulting. My property portfolio has tripled in size in both Australia and abroad while my team and I continue to research, develop and create systems for other like minded individuals to find opportunities for investment. These years of hard work have allowed me to grow and understand so much in business, and to have connections to a spectacular range of people in almost every industry you could imagine. Having built businesses, helped people get into their own business and then mentor and support them to grow their own enterprise, or acquire businesses that aren’t meeting the mark and restructure and reformat to make them profitable again, I have procured a large range of skills and knowledge and am so excited to be able to bring this knowledge and education to other business people, new investors, opportunistic individuals wanting to build a strong future or, for those struggling to save money each week, I have a group setup for mentoring and budgeting methodologies to get into a positive cash flow position with a healthy rainy day savings account! My last few years has seen me exploring new horizons in more than 30 countries. I’ve seen economies from all over the globe, scaling economies and failing economies and I’ve also experienced unbelievable opportunities. I’ve witnessed firsthand failures and adapted and learned from those to ensure our organisation provides a structured steppingstone of simple yet formatted business principles. Helping people get into their dream homes or building an investment portfolio has been a huge passion of mine, and the clients who've worked with me would understand and recognise that passion. Of late, I’ve been working with first time business owners taking their initial steps into business ownership, working one on one and ensuring a successful outcome is achieved by following the professional and strategic training systems and communication platforms provided. I’ll be using this page to give some key advice on property investment & development, starting or scaling a business, mindset motivation as well as opportunities to join our change group, which is an open group of people wanting more from life in all different shapes and sizes! a real, everyone wins kind of group. 11.01.2022 One of the biggest obstacles people face to finding success is fear. The fear of being judged, being talked about or the fear of failure. In some people’s mind, a failed attempt at something makes you a loser or a quitter, and there’s always someone out there cheering for you to fail at whatever you put your mind and effort to. Social media has also given a whole new level of fear to people with haters and critics able to make their comments and slander hidden behind a scree...n. Empower yourself with knowledge, surround yourself with people that motivate and inspire you not those who gossip and complain. Remember why you started, what the passion was behind your choice. Set smart goals and then celebrate your milestones. Stay focused and true to your cause, you’ve got this!!
05.01.2022 One day it just clicks. You realise what’s important and what isn’t. You learn to care less about what other people think of you and more about what you think of yourself. You realise how far you’ve come and remember when you thought things were such a mess. And you smile. You smile because you are truly proud of yourself and the person you’ve fought to become.... Give yourself a pat on the back, if you’re struggling with business or having a hard time in life, reach out and have a chat, or vent if you need to. Be proud, be fair, be forgiving.
