I’m not concerned with the debate about the vaccines and who is in the White House. ...That is not where my peace and joy are going to come from. My peace is going to come from my heavenly Father, my Savior Jesus Christ, saying to me, I could not ever fail you. It is impossible for God to fail his children when they look to him and trust him. His attributes of love and faithfulness do not permit him to do that. Even well-meaning people may have failed us, because they just didn’t have what we needed; but that could never happen with God. As we go into a new year, we need to be reminded of God’s emphatic Word that says, NEVER will I leave you; NEVER will I forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). The Lord is saying to you and me today, I will never let you down. No matter what 2021 brings, just keep looking to me. Trust me. I will be with you, and I will help you through it.
