23.01.2022 Covid pandemic has grandly impeded the production of movies, TV and theatre this year . However, I have just finished filming an exciting short film. All crew wore facemasks and respected distanciation and this took a little while to get used to but it didn't stop me to portrait and do justice to the great Brillat-Savarin, a warm and vibrant historical character. Written and produced by Sophia O'Rourke and directed by Ayesha Farooq with a committed crew, Back to the Foodture is a most promising AFTRS production. Epicure and gastronome, Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin (1755-1826), known as the French father of food criticism, invites for dinner in the early 1820's, present day celebrated Australian food writer Callan Boys.
