07.01.2022 AN IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM US: RESPONSE TO THE CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19). CTA and DWS would like to update our staff, trainees, apprentices, students and clients abo...ut the current situation regarding COVID-19. Globally the COVID-19 situation and the advice from the Australian and Queensland Governments is changing rapidly. We want to reassure you that we are closely following all published advice and ensuring it is implemented appropriately. We also want to let you know what we’re doing all we can to help protect the health of our staff, trainees, apprentices, students and clients. Face-to-Face Training Our trainers are still visiting venues and schools to train our trainees, apprentices, students. Training will occur as per existing schedules. All trainees, apprentices and students are expected to attend scheduled classes. In the event scheduled classes are impacted due to a government mandate, we will notify all stakeholders via email and/or text message. In the event that face to face training is not possible, all trainees, apprentices, students will be contacted directly (where possible) and provided a digital copy of course material and relevant assessments. Each student will have the opportunity to continue their education via video conferencing with their trainer. If this is not feasible for a student, we will work towards an alternative solution. In the event your venue or school is required to close, please do advise us at [email protected]. Our RMLV and Gaming Nominee training courses will be available twice a month via video conferencing. Existing courses will have the video conferencing option added where possible. Please contact us if you would prefer this attendance method and we will endeavour to fulfill your request. Online training All online training will continue as normal, we don’t foresee any interruptions to this service. Consulting Our consulting team currently work from both the office and remotely, we do not see any interruption to our consulting services. We will continue to provide updated communication that may affect the facilitation of training or other services. Thank you. John Dickson Chairman
