25.01.2022 Men’s Sheds are such an incredibly important asset to local communities across Queensland, including right here in the electorate of Moggill. Not only do they aim to improve the mental health and physical wellbeing of members, but each and every shed works within the community, including with local schools and other organisations, to deliver outstanding projects. That is why I’m proud to announce my commitment today that, under a future Deb Frecklington MP LNP Government, $20,000 will be provided to the Bellbowrie Mens Shed, to go towards infrastructure and mobility access upgrades, as well as for the purchase of additional capital equipment. Through responsible economic management, it’s only the LNP that can invest in and deliver for local community organisations.

16.01.2022 Our local schools need proper funding of their individual School Strategic Infrastructure Plans. We also require an additional high school. No more excuses by Labor. The upcoming Palaszczuk Labor Government State Budget is the time for Labor to act. Labor needs to start caring about the needs of local students.
12.01.2022 Recently, I received a formal response to correspondence I wrote to the re-elected Labor State Government about investing in local community centre infrastructure for our area. It’s disappointing to hear that the State Labor Government won’t commit funds, despite local Labor publicly stating during the recent state election campaign that they had identified suitable sites to progress, develop and fund a community centre.
