25.01.2022 Yesterday we honoured Remembrance Day by holding a service in the Central Courtyard at school. Thank you to students Bree, Dyson and Caitlin who officiated the service. We were also invited to attend the Port Noarlunga Christies Beach RSL’s Remembrance Day service. Two students, Jarrad and Sarah, along with 2 staff members attended and laid a wreath on behalf of our school. Thank you for your invitation and warm hospitality Port Noarlunga Christies Beach RSL. Lest we forget.

24.01.2022 This Friday we will be holding our Year 7 Transition Incursion day @ CBHS from 9am - 3pm. Further information and consent form is available either via our App, from your primary school or from CBHS Student Services. We look forward to seeing our year 7's for a fun day of activities and challenges!

23.01.2022 Yesterday morning, 64 students and 6 staff members left on a 3-day adventure to Woodhouse Activity Centre, Piccadilly. Prior to arriving at camp they visited Cleland Wildlife Park. Today the group tackle Challenge Hill, the Labyrinth and bouldering wall, finishing up with a visit to Bounce tomorrow on the way home! Have fun everyone and travel safe.

21.01.2022 Hi everyone. In case you’re trying to contact the school, the office is closed today as part of the extended long weekend around Australia Day. We’re back on Wednesday and looking forward to seeing all students in the central courtyard at 9am for an exciting start to 2021.

21.01.2022 Did you know today is International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD)? This is a United Nations observed day and is celebrated internationally, aimed to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability. Let's celebrate the achievements and contributions of people with disability today and every day.

21.01.2022 Please remember this coming Monday (7 December) is our Whole Day Transition Day for current year 7, 8 and 9 students. Students will be trialling classes and meeting their teachers for next year. We hope to see as many students as possible on Monday, as this is an important part of our transition process to help everyone settle in and have the best start to 2021 as possible!

19.01.2022 On Tuesday we held our hugely successful Sports Day. Once again Ngarrindjeri (blue team) came home with a convincing win! Thanks to all staff for putting in a big effort to organise such a fantastic day. We hope the students enjoyed it as much as we did.

18.01.2022 Question for you... 'What'll happen to the Wattle'?!?! Well this is pretty exciting. CBHS is one of approx. 150 schools, Scout groups and Australian Air Force Cadet groups across Australia selected to take part in the 'What'll happen to the Wattle' project. In collaboration with the One Giant Leap Australia Foundation and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Native Golden Wattle seeds will be sent to the International Space Station in early December. The seeds will... live in space for 6 months, returning to Australia in time for Science Week, 2021. We will then germinate and grow seeds which have flown to space, plus seeds that have not. Data will be recorded, analysed and both seeds compared. Please see more information in the attached flyer. Congratulations to the CBHS team led by Mr Jenkinson who produced the video entry for this awesome opportunity. We will keep you posted!

17.01.2022 We currently have an overloaded Lost Property basket. If you are missing items, please call in and see our friendly Student Services staff to collect them. At the end of term, items still remaining in lost property will be donated. Your stuff misses you too...!

16.01.2022 Students involved in our Excel Racing program supported by Bronte from #ClassicAussieRestorations are close to finishing their project car. Watch out for this car in the track at The Bend soon. Well done team, a fabulous effort and great outcome so far.

16.01.2022 On Friday 30 October we held our Year 12 Graduation Ceremony. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we had a limited audience of students and staff only. We are extremely proud of our hard working graduates and wish them all the very best for their future beyond CBHS. We hope you enjoy the video of the ceremony.

09.01.2022 2020 SCHOOL CARD DEADLINE Please note - this Friday, 20 November is the last day to submit 2020 School Card application forms. Forms are available from Student Services or via this link: https://www.sa.gov.au//financial-help-s/school-card-scheme. Families will be liable for full payment of 2020 school fees if application forms are not received by Friday.

04.01.2022 Welcome to the 2021 school year! Parents, caregivers and students please remember our Welcome BBQ is being held tonight from 3.20 to approximately 5pm. Everyone is welcome to come along to meet teachers and look at your children’s classrooms. We look forward to meeting many of our families, new and old. When you arrive, please sign in using our QR code which will be available in the Central Courtyard. Parking is available via Gate 1 from Morton Road.... We hope to see you there!
