24.01.2022 CHEERS ...to all my lovers whom I have already married, and to all my couples booked in for their big day next year! I cannot wait to be there for one of the happiest day of your lives! ... 2020 is going to be a big one for me, with weddings and travel! I’ve got 9 weeks of backpacking in Central America with my beautiful partner, Edson! Cannot wait to be back in my element! Big shout out and thanks to @zoeclairephotos and @bubblesbrunchandbranding for my killa’ pic. #darwincelebrant #ntcelebrant #cheers #christihamonmarriagecelebrant #celebrantdarwin #love

23.01.2022 One Year Down & A Lifetime To Go. Happy 365 days to these two legends. Your ceremony was one to remember and a sunset not to be forgotten. After meeting in Brazil, these two backpackers didn’t let their different nationalities get in the way of their happily ever after and did whatever it took to make this day happen.

22.01.2022 Flash back to this beautiful beachfront wedding on East Point. How gorgeous are these flowers by @beijaflordarwin and stunning setup by @creativetwo . #darwinwedding #christihamonmarriagecelebrant #ntcelebrant #darwincelebrant #creativetwo #beijaflordarwin @ East Point Beach and Park

22.01.2022 You know when you just know? Yea well that’s basically how the story goes for Scott and Grub. They were set up on a blind date by their good friend (who I happen to have married also) and within two weeks knew it was the beginning of their newest adventure, hand in hand. One year later and here they are as husband and wife and loving every bloody minute. ... I love how life can be so unpredictable at times and the curve balls it can throw at us (the good and bad). Loved this simple, intimate ceremony at the Darwin Sailing Club. Grub said she would be a blabbing mess, but she held it together! I’ve always found it funny the way our emotions work. @ Darwin Sailing Club See more

21.01.2022 With the big news in the NT today...here are a few things to note about weddings.. Outdoor weddings can now have an unlimited amount of people... The regular 1.5m social distancing must still apply Borders still remain closed, so only your friends and family from NT can attend So, if you’re holding onto your dream wedding with all your loved ones from overseas and interstate, postponing until next year is likely the best option. However, if an intimate wedding with those close to you here at home still ticks all the boxes, then perhaps this year is for you. Elopements still welcome also. Get in touch with me for any further details or questions you may have. #christihamonmarriagecelebrant #darwincelebrant #covid19restrictions See more

20.01.2022 A couple of weeks ago, instead of being up the front, under the arbour with a pair of love birds, I got to sit back, relax and watch another celebrant take the reins! It was my first time as a celebrant being in this situation, attending a wedding, and it made me appreciate the ceremony so much more than I ever have. Knowing exactly the amount of time and effort it takes to create a personalised and heartfelt ceremony really provided a different perspective. Great work [email protected] it was a pleasure to meet you, and of course, congratulations to my family, Mr and Mrs Wainwright. #newperspective #iloveweddings #marriagecelebrantdarwin #celebrantsam #iamcelebrantsam #ntmarriagecelebrant #love #shesinlovewiththekoko #christihamonmarriagecelebrant #darwinweddingcelebrant #townsville #prestonpeakswinery #ipreview @natashawainwright_ @kodywainwright See more

19.01.2022 Happy one full lap around the sun as a married couple Mr and Mrs Moss. However, these guys aren’t just any couple, they’re a couple of me best mates! It was so special to share this moment with them which I’ll cherish and remember forever. I originally became a celebrant to marry one of my other best friends and I can definitely say it is such an honour and a privilege to do this. Looking forward to working with more pals in the future to tie the knot. ... @pigeonjess @moss_fit See more

18.01.2022 Love has no age. These two have been through so much and are yet so young, but their love is as pure and strong as any other couple I’ve had the pleasure of marrying. @ George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens

18.01.2022 Registry Office or Not? But firstly...Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Bradley who officially got to use these names last night after already getting ‘married’ in Bali exactly a year ago. Considering the bride and groom already had their dream wedding, they only wanted something short and sweet so they could make it ‘official’, however they weren’t overly keen on doing this at the registry. ... So in a location of their choice and at a time and date of their choice....within 10 minutes, we did the legal requirements needed and a few traditional aspects of a ceremony so that their marriage can now be recognised in Australia. There were beach beers, Birkenstocks, their two boys and a crackinggg sunset accompanied by the perfect sea breeze. #wetseasonweddingperks Also the boys pronounced mum and dad as husband and wife. So for basically the same price...I know which I’d choose. So just remember, there are options...you just need to chat to a celebrant/s and see what they can offer you, especially if you’ve got a budget in mind.

14.01.2022 That look you make when it’s a long weekend and you don’t have to go to work tomorrow. I hope everyone is enjoying their time off however they celebrate Australia Day, if at all. For me, I’m doing some gardening, spending time with friends, admin work and Spanish practice. To all the hospo workers who have to work, I say thank you! ... I believe that the government will soon enough make the right decision and #changethedate. Love to you all xox #longweekendfeels #australiaday #relaxing #changethedate

14.01.2022 And just like that, my first year as a celebrant has come to an end. What a wonderful year it was, and I thank all my beautiful couples for putting their trust in me. 11.01.2022 A beautiful review from the wonderful couple, Mr and Mrs Angwin. Christi was honestly amazing, she made our day so special and none of our requests were an issue. She took all the stress off the wedding process, explained how everything works to us and made the experience effortless. Could not recommend anyone highly enough, thank you Christi for our day and everything you did. Genevie and Jay even mentioned to me that they are going to convince all their friends and fa...mily to get married so they can recommend me to be their celebrant. Crap, 2021 might just be getting even busier! Bring it on!! Thanks so much for your beautiful review @genevie.angwin and @aayjangwin. Once again, it was an absolute pleasure and one to remember. 09.01.2022 Mr and Mrs Corby, my oh my where do I start? Well, I got the call literally one month and two days prior to the proposed wedding date. So, legally this meant I needed to meet with Sarah and Gavin within two days to get the paperwork done (1 month notice minimum required). The next day we met, we had some g&ts and espresso martini’s, signed the papers and got to planning. The night prior to the wedding, who do I spot having a cheeky bev down at the Landmark? Yep, you guess...ed it, these legends!! Why bloody not? Come the wedding day...gosh there were some nerves coming from the bride. The groom was cool and calm as per usual. However, come the ceremony, tears and shakes came from both parties which was unexpected, BUT perfect and oh so emotional!! Gosh I nearly lost it I tell you. One of the most memorable ceremonies, and all in the humble setting of Gavin’s family home where he grew up. #backyardwedding #ntcelebrant #darwinweddings #christihamonmarriagecelebrant #territoryweddings #meetthecorbys

09.01.2022 I’m currently ‘out of office’ and backpacking through Central America. Sending my love to you from beautiful Cuba. I am still contactable, but might take a little longer to respond to your messages for possible weddings this year and next. #christihamonmarriagecelebrant #travelling @ Havana, Cuba

08.01.2022 ELOPEMENTS ARE WONDERFUL Due to new regulations, this is the only way you can currently get married in Australia. Just the 5 of us (the couple, the 2 witnesses who are over 18 y/o and the celebrant). My latest wedding with Jules and Brad was an elopement, and it was one of my FAV weddings so far. It was so intimate, full of LOVE, relaxed, we had lots of fun and obviously popped some champagne together afterwards to celebrate. ... 07.01.2022 Will I get you married? Yep! Will you have one of the best days of your life? You bet! Will I serve your guests a celebratory champas after you’ve said ‘I do’? Why the heck not! ... I’ll stick around and help out in any way needed if I can, and I’ll even sneak a bubbles in myself if you let me! After all I have gotten to know you pretty well over the past few months. @joannecookphotography

07.01.2022 Did you know... . You can be married at SEA or even in the AIR?....But!...You must be within 22.2kms (12 nautical miles) of the Australian territorial waters! AND that... . All Registered Australian Marriage Celebrants MUST do annual ‘Ongoing Professional Development’ (OPD)! Yep, that’s right, we have to keep up with all the latest laws, trends and relevant information. And so we should! This getting married business is absolute serious stuff! ... . I had a great time meeting lots of celebrants in the NT today, learning new things and gaining great tips, stories and plenty of laughs. . 06.01.2022 A beautiful love letter received today from Sasha and Tavis. A huge shout out to our amazing Celebrant Christi Hamon! You made our special day effortless, seamless and just perfect. From the minute we met for the first time, to the very end, we couldnt fault you. ... If we had have known it was going to be this easy and stress free, we would have gotten married years ago! You truely got us as a couple. It honestly felt like we had known you for years. We loved all the extra details you did; our love story, assisted/ideas/proof reading our vows, the presentation, the to do check list after (marriage certificate, name changes) and most of all involving the kids. Thank you! I totally agree with them, it felt like I was marrying friends I’d known for years. How special is that? @klphotographydarwin

02.01.2022 Your happily ever after will come...and I’m so sorry if this moment you have been dreaming of needs to be delayed until further notice due to this horrid virus! I am truly heartbroken for you. I will therefore not be taking any new enquires for 2021 until my couples this year have decided what they will do. There will be no costs involved for changes, and I will do what I can to accommodate your new date. With that being said, my trip of a lifetime in Central America ha...s been cut short by 7 weeks, as we head home tomorrow.
