24.01.2022 What a challenging year 2020 has been for every one. Back in May of this year I applied for a Campbelltown Cares Business and Community Grants Application. I was thrilled when Campbelltown City Council contacted me to advise that my application was successful. I received $1952.50. The staff at Councils Community Life team & City Marketing and Economy have been so supportive throughout the entire time frame. As a result I attended a fantastic information session with represen...tatives from Service NSW and Business Connect at Campbelltown Civic Centre on Wednesday 8 July. I had to opportunity to meet & network with other small local business owners and these contacts became part of a support group that greatly assisted to reduce feelings of isolation during the height of Covid-19. Thank you, all you beautiful people. What did I use the grant money for? Well I used it to have specialised support to promote my business via Enhanced Face Book advertising Professional designer graphics A beautiful banner cover design Improved messaging options for clients ....and a new contact email [email protected] And in addition I was lucky enough to have the added bonus of having new business cards, gift cards and price menus designed. I think the best thing about the process for me personally was having an achievable task and goal to work towards at a time when I felt like I was overwhelmed by so much time on my hands as I could not work ....because I wasn't doing what I love best.... Thank you Campbelltown City Council.
