17.01.2022 It was a busy week leading up to our lodgement deadline today. We believe we have met our 85% of lodgements on-time target that the ATO imposes on us each year. 12.01.2022 The last day to claim JobKeeper payments for April is 31 May. If you think you can now register, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

12.01.2022 It's the last day of the 2020 financial year. The ATO have advised that they will not start processing 2020 tax returns until the 5th of July and will commence paying refunds from the 16th of July. We are already getting a number of early bookings and will be keeping the ATO busy for the next few months.

12.01.2022 Please be aware that Step 2 and 3 are now available to finalize the JobKeeper process. We were advised today that payments will be made 4 days after these have been completed. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require assistance.

03.01.2022 Hi all The Prime Minister Announced an Economic Stimulus Package on 12 March in response to the anticipated challenges arising from the coronavirus. One of the key items that will benefit our business clients is the Government subsidy of up to $25,000 for businesses with turnover under $50 million that employ staff. The government will cover 50% of PAYG Withholding for the period 1 January 2020 to 30 June 2020. The minimum payment will be $2,000.... For our clients that lodge monthly IAS, we can see that this will assist with payment of the March quarter BAS where any credits arising from the subsidy for January and February will be used to offset GST payable.
