16.01.2022 Amazing, I can't imagine how much further skating can develop, other than perfecting techniques. Girls as young as 13 doing Quads! I mean wow! A lot of the top boys have or at least working on all their quad jumps. I'm not sure if physics will allow 5 rotations given there is only a set amount of time spent in the air. I think our equipment will also need to develop to assist a skater with extra height possibilities and injury prevention before 5 are possible. Or maybe we will see some new jumps being developed, I mean we only have 2 feet & 4 edges and all of these have been utilised in already existing jumps. Maybe a jump that not only rotates vertically but horizontally at the same time not unlike the gymnasts. It's an exciting time for the sport of Figure Skating. We will see how far it can develop from here.

04.01.2022 You're never to old to skate!

03.01.2022 Very interesting and absolutely true , and what I always explain for some parents who maybe not agree with me..... about students and their parents, I make tran...sition, please read...... If you are not happy with what you need, I can make a transition, please read ...... TATYANA TARASOVA ON THE TANDEM OF THE COACH AND PARENTS In our time, we often witness the hyper-participation and the knowledge of the parents of the athletes of the business their children are engaged in. Trainers often hear advice and complaints about their work. At a certain point, the question of why we need you so much is beginning to mature, if, according to the logic of many, we have no idea what to do and generally spend our time not on that and not on those? In turn, I really want to ask the parents about what they have done to ensure that their athlete achieved success and attention of the coach? Yes, yes ... you heard right. For attention you have to fight. And nevertheless let's understand. 1What are the results that can be discussed if your child misses classes all the time? In fact, in most cases, it turns out that when we need, we come and demand rigor and attention, and when not, we can skip. Go for a birthday cake to eat, take a trip on the tour, and also take part in 125 circles on poetry reading, making pottery and whistling. I will tell you, as an athlete and trainer, that in order for progress to be made due to high ambitions, you need to sleep in the gym and on the ice. 2 Do you follow the proper nutrition of your child? Overweight - no jumps !!!! 3A did you instil in your child the concept of hard work? Do you explain to him that in order for something to happen, you have to work hard, be patient? What you need to be able to listen and hear. After all, the coach explains everything the same way. Just someone hears it, but someone does not. And someone does not need it at all. And someone in general is a terrible bummer and at least forgive him, beat him with a stick, he will stand and sharpen his lyasy. 4I often hear from children: "And my mother said that I did not need it." My dear, mom has dont understand and know nothing in this sport. She is not a skater in past.......!!! 5 Many parents today believe that school and sport should be educated. Not. Parents must teach elementary rules of decency. Your child should know what respect for elders and especially for their teacher is. Entering the hall say "hello". Leaving, do not forget to thank for the workout and say goodbye. Returning from the competition, do not forget to approach the teachers who did not accompany them, but also prepared for these competitions, and say "thank you". Tell how everything went and discuss the errors. And teamwork? It is very important to be able to start with yourself, and not blame each other for mistakes and sort things out. 6 Never discuss the work of coaches with children. And never interfere with the training process and the trainer's plan. Believe that for each student there is a work plan and approach. Its educational work. And its pace of development. Someone thinks and teaches quickly, but someone needs time. This is normal. After all, sport teaches not only to sit on the splits. He teaches us many human qualities that help us to live in adulthood: responsibility, the ability to achieve their own no matter what, persistence, mutual assistance, the ability to solve problems in an acute situation, to think and not to lose, dignity, and you can still very long list. Be a friend to your child. Praise him, support him. And the coaches will scold him. , . . , , , ? , , ? , ... . . - . 1 , ? , , , , . , , 125 , . , , , , . 2 ? - !!!! 3 ? , , - , , ? . . - , - . - . - , , , . 4 : " , ." , . 5 , . . . , . :"". , " ". , , , "". . ? , . 6 . . , . . . - , - . . . , : , , , , , , . . , . .
