05.01.2022 Firstly I am not political. I am a swinging voter. I dont watch TV much but I do watch every budget. I like to see what they are doing with my contributions ea...ch year. This was a good budget delivered tonight. ( even though you have to listen to those grown men in blue suits say yeah yeah ). I worry that labours getting rid of negative gearing and reducing the 50 % discount of capital again on all but new properties. Labour will then use this money to give out more handouts. But they dont get it. There is massive money made by real estate stamp duty and other taxes when property market is moving and turn over operates in a fluent manner. Turn over now is very low and real estate agents are copping a hammering. Bottom line is I think your success in life is mainly dependent on what you do - not what government is in , but the real estate industry and mortgage brokers will be better off with Liberals.
