25.01.2022 Beautiful night for the chicken run. Bob Hogan will need to be handicapped severely, he won the chicken again on a putt off with Phillip Hanson. Phillip won NTP on the 5th. Michael Byrne won the chocolate.

22.01.2022 Five ladies played in the Saturday medal in very heavy conditions. Di Hynes won the medal and Ray Drummond voucher with 76 nett. Balls were given out to Julie ...Hanson and Sue Byrne as runners up. NTP were Di on the 13th and Julie on the 15th. Nathan Hanson was there to receive his hole in one trophy. He had a hole in one on the 17th ... "on the 17th" I hear you say!! A par 3 event was held 2 weeks ago, he hit a 5 wood 180 metres. Nathan and his partners watched it bounce on the green and then straight in the hole, well done Nath. See more

21.01.2022 The Ladies held their AGM, followed by a Christmas luncheon at the club for their breakup for the year. Anne Cooper went back in as Captain, she has had a very ...successful year, taking on the captaincy, and doing it in her quiet and organised way. Helen Young is Vice Captain, she was handicapper this season and as we now have 1golf through the computer, we don't need the handicapping position anymore. Vicki Adamson went back in as Secretary, she is very organised and capable, she will be ably assisted by Julie Hanson as Vice Secretary. Treasurer is Mandy Bestwick and assistant Mary Bysouth, both these ladies have a lot of experience in handling the monies that come into the club. Three more ladies went on to the general committee; Sue Byrne, Dawn Hinneberg and Di Riley. Once our AGM and first committee meeting was finalised we had our luncheon. The Birdie girls supplied a lovely spread of hams and turkey and veggies, followed by sweets. It was just beautiful. We also said goodbye to Mary Campbell. Mary and Rod have purchased a house in Broadford and will join the Broadford Golf Club. Mary has been a very good member of our club, she has held the position of Captain, been on our committees, she also is a Dalhousie delegate. We wish Mary and Rod all the best. See more

19.01.2022 18 ladies played in the Doris Chambers foursomes. Scores were very low, conditions weren't great. There was a four way tie as the best we could manage was 26 po...ints. Ruth Duffy and Pat Kinnell won on a count back from Di Lewis and Marg Brierley, followed by Yvonne Sillett and Julie Hanson and Mandy Bestwick and Sue Byrne. Our fields are still very good, so pleasing we now have 10 new ladies that have joined our club, quite a few were playing Stableford today. See more

18.01.2022 31 Ladies played today, 24 played in the Royal Women's Hospital 4 BBB and 7 of our new ladies played in a stableford event. Winners of the 4BBB were Trish Mann ...and Rachael Mitchell with 44 points, runner up was Helen Young and Helen Cashmoor with 41. We had another big frost last night, conditions were a bit cool, but then the sun broke through around 11.00 turned into a beatiful day. See more

09.01.2022 13 ladies played par today, we managed to get our game in before we had too much rain. It was good to see Bob back, hopefully Sam will be back soon. Winner of A... Grade was Julie Hanson with -3, runner up was Kath Keating with -6. Winner of B Grade was Marg Brierley with +1 and runner up was Ruth Duffy. We are playing par again on Saturday. See more

08.01.2022 Today 20 Ladies played our first par three event. It was a fun day, we all enjoyed it. Winner of A Grade was our captain Helen with 29 points. B Grade winner wa...s Yvonne with 30 points and C Grade Rachael with 26 points, one of our new ladies. Runners up were Elaine, Ruth and Sue. Nearest The Pins were Rachael on the 2nd, Taryn (another new lady) on the 5th, and Julie on the 13th. It is so pleasing to have such a good number of ladies turn up every week. See more

07.01.2022 We had eight play tonight in the Chicken Run.We had a few heavy showers of rain, but managed to get the ten holes in. Phillip won the chicken with 21 points. It all came down to the last hole. Bill and Alex were hot on Phillip's tail they both had 19 points. Jan got the chocolate.

07.01.2022 Eight ladies played today. Scores were good. Jan Baczynski won with 40 points. Runner-up was Julie Hanson 38. Also Linda Marchesi 37 points and Kirsten Jensen 37 points. Some really good scores on a very warm day.

06.01.2022 22 ladies played today, conditions were an improvement on last Wednesday and pleasant today. Helen Young won A Grade with 33 points. B Grade winner was Trish Ma...nn with 32 points and C Grade winner was Mary Bysouth with 30 points. Ball comp. winners were Yvonne, Julie, Marg, Elaine, Sue and Di Riley. Next week is stroke, 3rd round Eunie Hourigan, 3rd medal and 3rd round putting. We also had four beginners following the field playing 9 holes. See more
