15.01.2022 Small businesses are the backbone of our community. Small businesses who rely on daily/weekly cashflow from consumers to maintain their living for themselves an...d for their staff. A lot of people think that owning a business is easy and if you do you are so lucky. Yes it is a choice to own your own business, it isn’t something that is forced on anybody. The positive wave is the most euphoric feeling, but in bad times the stress can be unbearable. During these unprecedented and unpredictable times, there is so much extra stress added to running a business. Consumer spending is low, consumer traffic is low. This results in low cash flow. Cash flow that is so important to maintain staff wages, superannuation, insurance, licenses, stock levels, rent, overheads (the list goes on). I urge you (only IF you are in a position to do so) to support small wherever you can. Show kindness to everyone, the hidden stresses that people are going through are so high that LOVE needs to be shown. #SupportLocalTownsville
