25.01.2022 Pacific Pines Christmas Carols Saturday 5th December at Central Park Oval, Hotham Drive, Pacific Pines, preshow starts at 4.00pm with the Carols program beginning at 5.30pm. Thank you so much to our principal sponsor Peter Young Division 5 providing funding for the event. We will have top quality entertainment, food trucks, market stalls, children's activities and of course our fantastic Santa. The event will culminate with fireworks at 8.00pm. 23.01.2022 What another amazing night at Pacific Pines Christmas Carols. I would just like to take the time to thank everyone for coming along its fantastic that we can have events like these again. Special thanks to Peter Young Division 5 for providing most of the sponsorship funding for the event and to Mark Boothman MP, Theodore, Meaghan Scanlon - Member for Gaven and Southland Christian Centre for your donations. Thank you to all of our amazingly talented performers especially our h...eadline acts Candice Dianna and the best Santa on the Gold Coast Chad from The Magic Castle - Gold Coast. Thank you to all of our contractors, food vans and market stalls for making the event a success. Lastly but most importantly thank you to our team of volunteers, the A-Team (none of us were paid) Stacey, Shawn, Chappy Ben, Peter, Mark, Rob, Luke, Gabby, Suzzanne, Phil,and my two daughters Liz and Alex without you the event would not have been possible you all worked tirelessly without any complaints. 21.01.2022 Who's excited for Pacific Pines Christmas Carols today starting at 4.00pm and finishing at 8pm we will be allowing people into the event site from 3.30pm. Remember to main physical distancing when queueing for the event. You must have a free ticket to get in, the link for tickets is at the bottom of this post. If you have downloaded a ticket and unable to attend, please hand your ticket back in by clicking on the "view and manager your order" link in the confirmation email... or go to the Eventbrite app and then click on cancel order. There are only a limited amount of tickets available so let's be fair if you can't attend, let someone else who can go. It's going to be a hot day so remember your hat and sunscreen, drink plenty of water and bring some insect repellent. Remember to: Stay at home if you are unwell If you are sick and think you have symptoms of COVID-19, seek medical advice and get tested. If you want to talk to someone about your symptoms, call the National Coronavirus Helpline (telephone 1800 020 080) for advice. To seek medical help from a doctor or hospital, call ahead of time to book an appointment. o You will be asked to take precautions when you attend for treatment. Follow the instructions you are given. o If you have a mask, wear it to protect others. Stay at least 1.5 metres away from other people. The first aid post will be located to the left hand side of the stage near the light tower. Sending thanks to all the firefighters and thoughts are with those who have list their homes and to the families of the 2 firies who lost their lives. So glad our special friends at Guanaba Rural Fire Brigade are home having a well deserved break after 3 months solid of giving up their time to fight fires both locally and away. 19.01.2022 We are excited to announce the return of our main headline act Candice Dianna a local Gold Coast Soul/Pop. Candice Dianna has won 2 x QMUSIC awards and appeared on The Voice in 2014 and won the Australian Karoaoke Championships in 2012 to go on and finish second at the Karaoke World Championships in that same year. In 2016 she was a finalist in the QMusic Awards Song Writing Competition and released a solo this year Tear My Heart in Two. 17.01.2022 We are thrilled to welcome back Candice Dianna as our headline performer. Candice Dianna is a folk/soul and ballads singer-songwriter based on the Gold Coast of Australia. After a firm career in using her voice for competitions like The Voice Australia and the Karaoke World Championships representing Australia in Finland, she returned to her love of original music. Listening to Candice Dianna live is an experience of cascading waterfalls of piano trickling through the air, while she paints vocal colours and dancing melodies that ripple through your body leaving your hairs standing on end. Mr Magic has been entertaining the kids of the Gold Coast for over 10 years performing at thousands of kid’s parties, early learning centres and events. 14.01.2022 Call out for market stall holders and food vendors for this year's Winterfest being held in Central Park Oval, Hotham Drive, Pacific Pine son Sunday 26 July from 11am to 3pm. Market stall holders pricing is $50 for a 3m x 3m stall and you must be able to supply your own public liability insurance, marquee, equipment etc. (no power or water available on site). Food vendors, the fee is 20% of your takings on the day and you also must be able to supply your own generator, public liability insurance and food licence (if applicable). Please message me or the page with your email address and I'll send out applications.

13.01.2022 Snow Globes Our great mates at Fun World Snow Globes will be bringing along their giant snow globe for the kids to enjoy and for Mum and Dad to take some happy snaps for just a gold coin donation. Funds raised will be channelled back into our community

12.01.2022 Coastal Charisma is an all-ages, ladies A Capella chorus, singing popular songs in beautiful, 4 part harmony, led by multi-award-winning Musical Director Jonathan Albertini, and performing across Australia, in competition and for delighted audiences at private, public and community events, since 2014. Coastal Charisma is a chartered member of Sweet Adeline’s International and proudly Gold Coast based, with talented members from all backgrounds and ages, coming together in friendship, harmony, and song.

This year saw such a fabulous lineup of talent and we were blown away by the performances from Kelsey Hogg DANCE MAFIA, Jack Casey, Vocalescence ,Chloebehrens, Mikky and the other guy, Sound Connection, our brilliant featured performer Candice Dianna - Singer and of course everyone's favourite singing Santa, Chad from The Magic Castle - Gold Coast. Thank you to our sound team Dominica Sound, I'm sure everyone will agree the sound was absolutely spectacular and Steve and his team always put in an outstanding effort. Thank you to all of our attractions people Fun World Jumping Castles, Sunshine Jumping Castles, Jubilee Entertainment, Ponies and Animals 2 u, 2 Sparks Face Painting for putting on such fun activities for the children and especially to the most authentic Santa on the Gold Coast Santa Paul Millgate Thank you to all of our food vendors and market stall holders, we hope that the event was a good one for your business. Get ready for the most exciting and interactive Santa show anywhere in Queensland. Join Santa, Rudolph and Mrs Claus for a Christmas extravaganza that includes a mix of traditional carols and current pop songs. Last year Santa went to Old Town Road. 08.01.2022 Established in 1988, The Blenders are a community based all-male choir performing acapella (unaccompanied) four part harmony. Although their roots are in music arranged in the barbershop style they sing many different styles of music with an emphasis on variety and entertainment. The choir has performed nationally and internationally many times, most recently in Carnegie Hall in front of an audience of 3000. TV appearances include "Australia's Got Talent", "X Factor" and as Australia Zoo's "Khaki Choir", and many people still remember The Blenders from their appearances on "Battle of the Choirs" and of course the 2018 Commonwealth Games closing ceremony. Members range in age from 15 to 86 with the common factors being mateship, outreach and the love of singing. The Blenders Chorus

06.01.2022 We will be entertained by some very talented dancers from Elite Dance Academy. Elite offers classes in all genres of dance , including jazz , tap , ballet , lyrical , contemporary, hip hop , acrobatics and more. They also have classes for Tiny Dancers from 2 years old. Elite also offers a a music department with lessons in piano , guitar , singing and brass instruments, something for everyone. Elite are now enrolments for 2021 , book in for a free trial. Their staff are all qualified and their studio is a safe, friendly place for students of all ages and abilities .

03.01.2022 Just a few housekeeping things for Carols on Saturday. Make sure you bring a hat and suncscreen, the weather is predicted to be hot. Also might be worth packing some insect repellent, although most of Pacific Pines is being sprayed tomorrow, it may not be as effective at the park. Also there will be no ATM's on site, so please bring some cash in smaller denominations with you if you for the food trucks and market stalls.
