You do still need 'approval' to travel here from the local admininstration office, but an easier online form is being created for this and we'll share the link soon! 11.01.2022 We welcome the WA Government’s confirmation of its support for the establishment of a travel zone between WA and the Indian Ocean Territories of Christmas Islan...d and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, which will mean people travelling from the IOT into WA will no longer need to apply for an exemption or selfisolate on their arrival in WA. Departmental officials are working with WA on the details of these arrangements and a date for implementation, which is expected to be this month. I look forward to sharing further details very soon.

03.01.2022 Legend has it that a century ago, a dragon swam all the way from China before reaching Christmas Island. Lost and exhausted he hears the inhabitants speaking Ch...inese so tired to get ashore but was unable to swim past the waves and cliffs. Eventually he made his way into the grotto and now sits above the entrance to the cave and greets visitors with a roar of welcome! It’s a beautiful story for a beautiful cave swim, made all the more special in the afternoon light.
