14.01.2022 **TIPS FOR YOUR XMAS MINI** **WHAT TO WEAR- The scenes themselves are very busy, very christmassy! So keep outfits simple, solid colours tend to look best, no busy patterns, no big logos.. But this year, ANY COLOUR SUITS! ** You can do an outfit change if you choose to, just let me know on the day if you are doing this as it may change the order in which we take the photos.... **KIDS AND SHOES- dont worry about them! Barefoot is best, especially for those little toes who cant cross their legs. Seeing the bottom of feet is way cuter than the soles of shoes. **BRIBERY! - Im not above this! Lollipops are in my studio for this exact reason. But anything to get that easy smile is worth it! ** DISCUSS AND PRACTICE AT HOME -Show your kids where they are going.. the sets.. the video ive posted on my page. Pose them at home and take photos on your phone, practice this so that its not a weird thing for them to do...especially if they have a younger sibling they need to hold in the pics. **BE SILLY!! - The more fun you are having as a parent, singing, pulling faces making noises the more the kids will react in the same way.. if you are having fun, then so are they! IM NOT HERE TO JUDGE! Most of the time its me tickling, playing peek a boo or making fart noises.. but if i dont have to do that because you are.. then it makes my job so much easier!! You know your kids way better than i do, work out whats funny to them at the moment and we can do that here! **FAMILY PHOTOS - i ALWAYS encourage parents to get in a photo with their kids. ( also, side note to the Dad's - it makes Mums super happy ..puts you in the good books so its totally worth it ) THATS IT! 04.01.2022 All xmas minis to date have now been sent out. If you have not received yours yet, please let me know. Shoots that were missed due to lockdown have been rescheduled, and it all should be good to go as of Sunday! Ill be back in this hat! I will see you all soon! ... Elle
