Because people have refused to return to the LORD 1. The people were ripe for judgment, due to their ignorance of their purpose. A. 08.01.2022 THIS IS THE GODPEL OF CHRIST IN A NUTSHELL. How do you go to Him? He said, come, I will give you rest, wow, it is a gift that He wants to give. We only need to ...go to Him. He further said, seek me, while I may be found, while I am near to you (the period of grace)- that means there will be a time you will not find Him. Unless we have a sense of loss of anything, we will not seek for it. A lot of us devalue the gift of eternity, hence dont look for it or understand the value of it. If you need to receive this gift, we need to go near to Yahushua, as He is the only giver of this gift. But there are two things hinder us from getting closer to Him to receive the gift. What are the two things that prevent us? According to the God of the Bible, Yahweh, 1. The wickedness. Forsake the wickedness- the quality of being evil and morally wrong. 2. Forsake the thoughts of unrighteousness- the core of your thoughts that conflict with the God consciousness. When we return to Him, through His mercy and our repenting heart, 1. The day we receive this gift, we became part of His Kingdom and this is when the heaven on earth starts. He calls us, those who are redeemed through the blood of Yahushua, you are the congregation of mighty, the gods of the earth. As gods of the earth we are to do the good works of God our father Yahweh and our big brother Yahushua 1. Defend the poor and the fatherless 2. Do justice to the afflicted and needy 3. Deliver the poor and the needy from the hand of wicked 4. Deliver those who walk in the darkness due to lack of knowledge into the Kingdom of light. The gift that Yahushua was talking about is the gift of Eternal life that is filled with not only joy love and hope, but also we dont have be weary, tired and live a life with heavy burden. All humanity is under condemnation of death because of sin. Man has nothing to be proud of in his current state. But to those who are in Christ Yahushua, there is no condemnation but the gift of eternal life.
