22.01.2022 The holidays are over, the kids are back to school and we're straight back to work! Coming up this week we have two girls cakes, one for a 1st Birthday, and one for a christening!

22.01.2022 This cake was delivered yesterday to a STUNNING private property in Warrandyte. I can't wait for a copy of the professional pics, as it really was the most beautiful set up I have ever seen! I was pleased to hear this morning that the cake (and the bride!) held up perfectly in yesterdays heat. Congratulations Jason and Ariela, I hope your day was truly magical!

I'd also like to thank everybody for your support and encouragement this year. We are taking a short break to enjoy some quality time together, but will be taking orders again from February 3rd. 19.01.2022 I ended up with far too much pumpkin so made some pumpkin muffins yesterday - they were a hit with all 4 kids! It's amazing what they will eat if it looks cake related! How does everyone else sneak food into their kids?

15.01.2022 This week I had the absolute pleasure of making my daughters best friends 10th birtday cake! Georgia is a bit of a girly girl so I thought I'd make her a blinged up cake for her disco party! It doesn't show well in the photo but it was purple, not blue!

10.01.2022 Good morning everyone! It's been a little quiet on the page lately as I've just recently had some dental surgery. There will be no cakes for me this week as I take a few extra days to recover, but I'm very much looking forward to getting stuck straight into it next week with my nieces christening cake, and a little something for my sisters 30th!

10.01.2022 Late last night I realised that we have been running for just over a year now! I can't believe how quickly the time has gone by! When I first started, it was just me here and now we have grown to a community of just over 1000. Thank you all for sharing this journey with me, I appreciate every single one of you! To my biggest supporters, my family and my friends, I wouldn't have achieved so much without your unwavering support and all your words of encouragement! THANK YOU ALL! xx I look forward to getting bigger and better in the following year and can't wait to share it with all of you!

10.01.2022 We have reached the end of 2013! As a wrap up I will re-post the 3 most popular cakes of the year! (based on the likes). The 3rd most popular was also one of my favourites! This flower pot cake is completely edible, including the pot! I was so pleased with how this one turned out :)

09.01.2022 A lovely customer has just come past and handed me this envelope, inside is the sex of her baby! I will be making her a cake that will either be blue or pink inside, and when she cuts it she will know what she is having! I just love the gender reveal cake craze, wish I had known about it when I was having my children!

09.01.2022 Hi everyone! I'm so sorry, I didn't realise how much time had passed since I had posted here! A lot has been going on behind the scenes here at Christola's Cakes and I can't wait until I can start sharing it all with you.... As of now I will no longer be taking orders, but all current orders will be honoured. I will continue to share my work with you all to see, and in the meantime, keep your eyes open for a (small) name change, a brand new location, and all new products!

07.01.2022 Today I delivered this cake to the beautiful Roselyn Court Homestead in Essendon. It is such a beautiful venue for a wedding. I have also attended a wedding there as a guest just over a year ago and I remember also thinking back then how great the place was! I hope Suzie and her partner (now husband!) had a wonderful day and I'm so glad the rain held out!... Congratulations to you both!

02.01.2022 I've just taken a batch of pizza muffins out of the oven, and they smell incredible! My kids love when I make these, packed full of veggies and they really do taste (and smell!) like pizza!
