14.01.2022 How exciting is this news!!! From 4pm today, up to 40 people can be at a wedding in a public place or at a residence! If you're after any more, or you want to dance you will need a CovidSafe plan in place through your Venue or by using a Wedding Planner. Even without a plan in place, current social distancing guidelines still apply to ceremony spaces.... My current understanding is that the 40 people is related to the gathering size so must include every person at the gathering including the couple, their witnesses, and any other guests or suppliers. Just a reminder that children count towards your guest numbers, because it isn't 40 Adults, it's 40 People The next few months are pretty busy with lots of couples booking in their weddings before the end of the year.
