25.01.2022 Ohhhh man.... driving the last 40 minutes to the 12 Apostles, I could see the clouds and knew the chances of getting a good sunset was slim. BUT LOOK AT THAT SUN! Peaking through the smallest of gaps on the horizon! Thanks to covid there was only another 2 people at the lookout for the majority of the sunset. 4 others showed up afterwards. So nice to not have to fight for a good spot to set up haha.

25.01.2022 Vidi described the last week as a rollercoaster of not knowing whether their wedding would go ahead or not because of Melbourne's 5 day lockdown and I think she hit the nail on the head with that one. 25.01.2022 I said we were back but now we really are back! The first shoot since lockdown ended! Such a good feeling to have my camera back in hand and to be getting creative again. 21.01.2022 I finally got to do some more maternity photography! Something I wanted to do more often but good ol’ covid-19 got in the way! Last Saturday we were meant to head out but the weather was horrible. So we decided to leave it for a few days until the weather calmed down. The very next day I woke up and it was a perfect day so we decided to head to the You Yangs just before sunset to get some of that golden hour goodness. BUT, then Daniel Andrews announced a 6pm curfew starting ...that night. So what was originally a if the weather doesn’t play nice we’ll just come back in a few days to holy crap this is our only chance!. If you know anyone that is expecting PLEASE throw my name in their face. I want to do this so bad!* *Obviously once things have settled down in the world.

19.01.2022 Sunsets are THE BEST for maternity photos! I want all of my future maternity bookings to be afternoon bookings so we can take advantage of the golden glow of the afternoon and then beautiful sunsets like these!

13.01.2022 Please accept my apologies for the waterfall and sunset photography spam you’re about to experience over the next week or so This waterfall track was closed in 2011 because of the risk of falling trees. I thought id be one of those photographers with the worth the risk mentality and really, the risk is the same as any bushwalk right? That was until halfway there when I heard a huge crack and a thud. Still, when you end up at the end of the track and you’ve got this gorgeous waterfall it’s totally worth the risk!

13.01.2022 Car photography is definitely not something I do often... BUT this iso business has got me missing being creative so I snuck down to the local ovals with my new lumecubes and the drone to muck around with some light painting and long exposures. Now instead of a CX-5, imagine a bride and groom! SOMEBODY LET ME DO THIS AT THEIR WEDDING!!!

08.01.2022 A little bit of top down goodness from Johanna Beach just off the Great Ocean Road. Before I head out I spend a bit of time on Google Maps looking at places that might work for drone photography. I found a windy part of the Great Ocean Walk that leads you up a small hill running parallel to the ocean so the plan was to find that and get an awesome top down shot! Turns out I didn’t mark the spot like I usually do and by the time I got down around that area there was no reception haha. I was only going to spend 15-20 minutes here before I had to leave in time to get to the 12 Apostles for the sunset so I made do! 120 meters in the air and cruising along the coast I found this little rock platform which looked good!
