16.01.2022 Here is a cute little bathroom window I designed and constructed a couple of months ago, for a lovely family in Mt Lawley. The clients asked me to create a unique Art Deco window, featuring their favourite glass from the existing federation style windows in their home. I took a tour of the clients gorgeous, stained glass filled home and was able to identify the existing glass and then incorporate them into this new window. 06.01.2022 This was so fun to make! I recreated my friend Kicks Psychedelic Art artwork in glass, as a special gift for her birthday. Lucy’s work is vibrant and psychedelic, so I spent a while sourcing the best and brightest glass colours I could find, to do it justice. There is some really special glass in this piece, some antiques and discontinued colours. I enjoyed the challenge of soldering that tiny spider web, the spiders legs and those free standing antennas! Lucy encouraged ...me to participate in an art exhibition with her a few years ago. Little did I know that this event would be the catalyst for creating my art business.
