18.01.2022 We had to cancel the annual Chrysler Festival earlier in the year due to Covid 19. This year saw the passing of Sir Stirling Moss, so in honour of the legend that explained the New Hemi Engine in the VG Model, the club decided to put on a cruise that started from the birthplace of our marque at Tonsley. We headed south to the former Engine Plant at Lonsdale where the Hemi was produced and then onto Moana and the southern beaches where the commercials for the VG Model were made. Lunch was at the Deep Blue Cafe. Thanks to all that came for the cruise and had lunch.

13.01.2022 Good morning members. Membership renewals have been working very well this year with the online form and we've had some great positive feedback as to how simple the process has been. Thanks to all who have renewed so far. We still have 60 member who are yet to renew so are un-financial as memberships expire on 30th June. If you are one of those members you will have received a FINAL reminder email plus an SMS this morning. Please renew ASAP or risk having your Club Registrati...on cancelled when we notify Transport SA that your membership has lapsed. Renewals can be done online with instructions at the following link: https://cccsa.net.au/2020membership . Note that if you are currently un-financial your concessional registration is in fact void and you should not be driving your classic vehicle.

13.01.2022 In case anyone was intending to travel to QLD in September.

13.01.2022 If you've got some spare cash hiding down the couch, this might be a good buy. https://www.ramsaysadelaide.com.au///dodge-challenger-r-t/

11.01.2022 CCCSA members. You should have received an email this morning regarding Membership Renewals for 2020. If not, then we probably don't have your email address. Please refer to https://cccsa.net.au/2020membership/ for the content of the message and instructions for renewing your membership (if you need to).

10.01.2022 Now that restrictions have loosened, the August General Meeting will be conducted 'in person' at West Adelaide Football Club. Please see the website home page for details. https://cccsa.net.au/

09.01.2022 Pretty amazing, in the 50s Goodyear made a translucent coloured tyre that could be illuminated from inside but it never saw mass adoption because of boring things like cost and road grip issues. Can read more about it here: https://www.thedrive.com//why-goodyears-illuminated-tires-

09.01.2022 Weve had lots of members renewing online as per our email and SMS last week. Thanks to those who have done so. A number of members who need log books replaced have been sending them via Registered Mail. This is a great idea as it provides you with piece of mind that we actually receive your book/s. However, it does require that someone has to attend the post office during business hours to sign for the mail, which is not always easy for us.... A better way method is to use Express Post. That way the letter is put into the post box for us to pick up at any time and the letter is still tracked so you have proof of delivery if required. For extra protection, you can also use an Express Post envelope for the return mail. Regards, CCCSA

02.01.2022 Hi again members, Just a quick note regarding acknowledgement of membership applications and fees. Weve had to create our own online system for dealing with memberships for this year, at very short notice. Were still working on the part where we reconcile applications with payments.... Rest assured that you will receive an email acknowledging payment in due course. Once that process is completed, we will then contact people that have submitted a form, but from whom we havent received payment. Its looking like being towards the end of this week before that is completed. Please be patient for a few more days until we get the system up and running. Kind regards, The CCCSA Committee

We also have the mudflaps to sell separately, without brackets. Costing - $110 per side complete assembled $65 per side, without brackets. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers Richard & Kathy
