24.01.2022 We have 54 pre entries so far ( impressive considering our circumstances ) , entries online finish Friday evening , u can enter on the day ... at a extra cost... ... the link to pre enter is below They are hoping to have us on track around 12.30 -1pm Please take note of the following : its quite long , grab a cup of coffee I. Gates are open early but they ask we dont turn up before 11 as sign on wont start till 11.30 because of the earlier event. Gather in the outside car park if u can ? 2. $10 gate entry for spectators ( its on the flyer so dont say u didnt know) 3. At sign on if u are an early bird entry , please make sure u collect your shirt and bag. 4. KEEP YOUR DISTANCE!!! - police do regular checks and u will be fined if u are not following the rules .. these guys have fought hard to get events up and running , do the right thing please 5. Bring ID for sign on and your photo will be taken ( its part of the procedure ) 6. You will need to sign a COVID register with your details as u would normally do if dining out etc ... 7. Helmets are required for all racing events , and cars with roll cages ( all occupants ) 8. Driver briefing will take part in pit lane ( social distancing wont allow it in briefing room ) please pay attention to the rules 9. Sausage sizzle at 4 pm ( before burnouts ) usually they would supply a free alcoholic drink but with the current situation this wont happen . Sorry 10. Bring the family everyone has a great time on track ( however small passengers for cruising event only ) and with this said , consider your driving style whist in the cruising event , there maybe little People in cars and as helmets are not required , it poses a danger to everyone, there is opportunities for racing and being a little crazy in other events on the day with helmets ... we all want to go home at the end of the day 11. I have a few extra shirts available ( some are different branded shirts ) , so if u want one please PM me or see me On the day,$15 each I also have some tin signs with the event details ( for the shed ) $4 each ... same PM me or see me On the day ... cash only for these items as it upsets their system. 17.01.2022 The Chrysler Owners Club Qld is planning to present its Chrysler Expo 2021 on Sunday 21 March 2021 at Rocklea Show Grounds. Expo would feature the show n shine of Mopars, the swap meet and the diverse range of vintage and historic themed exhibits (trucks, buses, taxis, fire engines, ambulances, speed cars, motor cycles, mopeds, Penny Farthing bikes and other historical cycles, stationary engines) and more. Exhibitors are welcome to come in period dress. The 2019 Chrysler ...Expo, the first with vintage and historic themes, was big and varied, and we anticipate Expo in 2021 will be brighter and with even more variety. Gates open 6am. Within the Covid 19 Safety Plan applicable to the Show Grounds, a crowd of up to 5000 can be admitted. There will be strict adherence to social distancing, hygiene, contact tracing and other rules. Presentation of Chrysler Expo will be conditional upon Covid Safe rules and health authority directives that may apply in March 2021. If Expo 2021 is cancelled, notices will be posted on this Face Book page, the Chrysler Owners Car Club web site and Face Book page. 16.01.2022 Well the decision has been made . UNFORTUNATELY We have to CANCEL this years AFD 2020 due to COVID-19 and restrictions . We where hoping it may still happen BUT... DAD UPDATE Dad has just been taken to hospital with difficulties breathing. Unfortunately the car cruise that has been organised for today must be cancelled.

Identification Number for you and also show what the cars engine prefix should be (subject to option çode upgrades). We currently have All VALIANTS listed and over the next few days we incorporate Centura, Galant, Lancer, Hillman etc ALL under the VIN section. 09.01.2022 **Please note new date for Chrysler Expo 2021. If the March date does not happen then September 2021 will be the new date. ** The 2020 Chrysler Expo is cancelled.... The Committee of the Chrysler Owners Club decided there was insufficient time to properly organize, prepare, and comply with the requisite Covid 19 Safety Plan. We have booked the Rocklea Showgrounds to hold Chrysler Expo on Fathers Day September 2021. In the meantime, well have time to prepare a bigger and better Expo. We hope to see you there. 08.01.2022 Chrysler Expo 2020, hosted by the Chrysler Owners; Club Queensland, is scheduled for Fathers Day Sunday 6 September. At this time , we dont know what Covid-19 restrictions will apply and can;t determine whether it will proceed this year. As time gets closer, the Club will decide, probably in July, whether to hold its Expo. Just watch this (FB) space.

04.01.2022 My thoughts go out to my old mate Gordon "Pinky" Fellows, who sadly, has been diagnosed with Dementia. Pinky has been a mate and an announcer at my events for l...onger than I can remember. Known by everyone in the car scene as a complete Larrikan behind the mic, Pinky traveled the country announcing at all kinds of motoring events over the years, and it will be sad not to hear his voice at these events anymore. His son, Billy-Joe wanted to get the word out to those in the car scene so those that know him, can understand why he isnt there. See more
