21.01.2022 Today, I was interviewed by Dr Cameron Jones in a Facebook live stream. We spoke about building inspections in Melbourne Victoria. Cameron is a consultant on indoor air quality and environmental microbiolgy. He's the founding CEO of Biological Health Services, which is an environmental testing lab and consultancy. He's invested into other biotech interests and/or started spinoff's including mould.net.au, and the not for profit, Australasian Infection Control Society Inc amongst other interests in this sector. 12.01.2022 I often get asked "how often should I oil my deck." The simple answer is if it looks thirsty give it a drink. Don't wait until the timber looks dry and bare or the process becomes much harder. Whatever your flavor, do yourself a favour and use a decking oil. Rubbish and rubble within the sub floor area reduces air flow, attracts vermin, can lead to mould and makes visibly inspecting the sub floor area difficult and hazardous.
