21.01.2022 As tomorrows Victorian Government mandated changes loom, we wanted to let you know about the new face mask wearing measures that have been put in place in the salon. As a precaution we have chosen to war masks for the last week or so already. We know some of you will be feeling somewhat nervous and anxious about the current Covid situation and we totally understand that. It is our goal that every single one of you can feel comfortable in our salon. As such, we are strictly ...enforcing the governments ruling... Everybody must wear a mask without exception. We kindly ask that you: Arrive for your appointment wearing a mask or face covering Keep your mask on throughout your stay at the salon Do not remove your mask unless requested to in order to access your hair (ie, around the ears on one side then the other) bring a spare mask or two just in case the original is damaged or stained in anyway We are also asking customers to reschedule your appointment if: You have experienced any cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days Have been in contact with anyone with cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days Are travelling from regional Victoria We are committed to keeping our staff and our clients safe throughout these challenging times. So that our salon is as safe as possible, you will have a slightly different salon experience than before: Upon arrival you will be asked to wash your hands before taking your seat. Please attend your appointment on your own. Due to spacing restrictions we cannot seat friends or family that accompany you. Appointments are spaced out to reduce the number of people present and to allow extra time for cleaning. Cleaning of personal spaces and hand washing will take place in between clients. As well as more frequent cleaning of high touch common area surfaces. All of our team have all trained on Covid safe best practices We cant wait to see you in the salon soon with your best mask on

14.01.2022 Hey Chumba peeps Bad news Im afraid... due to Australia Post falling apart during lockdown some of our clients are waiting weeks for their hair products to arrive. Which is terrible service and has upset a lot of customers. It is understandable though under the pressure theyre enduring. Since we are powerless to remedy the situation from our end weve decided to suspend online hair product sales on our shopping website until October 1st.... Apologies for this but we cant operate as we would hope to until they get themselves sorted out. Our Warragul salon continues to operate under stage three restrictions. And our Chapel St salon will remain closed until the end of the Melbourne lockdown. We really cant wait to see you all again in the salon - hairdressers without people around them are like fish without water - we can make it a few more more weeks but we are not loving time away from you all

Permanent hair colour generally contains ammonia and must be mixed with a developer or oxidising agent in order to permanently change hair colour. I like the way she goes to great lengths to ensure Im comfortable with her approach and asks for a second opinion, to seek additional input into her decision making, which I really appreciate. The best part about crystal is that she is really good at explaining WHY shes doing what shes doing, shes a natural teacher and I always learn new things about hair colour.
