04.01.2022 We are currently working with the Penguin Historical society on gathering information about our Church Cottage. Here is some information we have found out... 1896- first wedding (not at current site) 1924- destroyed by fire. 1925- it was rebuilt ... 1944- new church opened ( part of former building) at West Pine. 1945- new church consecrated called " The Church of the Ascension, West Pine". 2007- 11 September, Church closed. As you can see we are still working on getting more information about the missing years.
