25.01.2022 Congratulations to Rose Park Cricket Club for taking home the SA Churches & Community Cricket Association A-Grade Premiership with a thrilling win over Adelaide Lutheran in the grand final last weekend. The Bulldogs bowled the Parkers out for 92 in the first innings, but bags of wickets from Travis Uern and Jeff Clarke help dismiss Adelaide Lutheran for 70, making it three flags in four years for Rose Park.

25.01.2022 Extreme weather is affecting play in two of our member associations today, with all games in the SA Churches & Community Cricket Association abandoned due to a scorching heatwave in Adelaide, and Queensland Churches Cricket pulling the pin on their round of matches thanks to the torrents of wind and rain from Cyclone Marcia lashing the Sunshine State this weekend. Please join us in urging our SA friends to stay cool today, and our QLD mates to stay safe... click like!

13.01.2022 Finals action continues in our member associations tomorrow, particularly in SAs C&CCA A-Grade where a crazy semi-final between Enfield and Adelaide Lutheran (featuring 2014 All-Australian Nathan Wright) will continue to unfold on Day Two. In the other C&CCA A-Grade semi, Rose Park (lead by 2014 All-Australian Steve Neal) have set North-Eastern Knights a challenging target. In Victorias WSCCA, the A-Grade Grand Final kicks off tomorrow, as WSCCA captain Matt Scalzos Eynesbury Eagles head to the big dance with St.Johns. 12.01.2022 Congratulations to the boys from St. Phillips Turramurra South, who knocked off Castle Hill Westley in last weekends Church Cricket NSW A-Grade Grand Final. In a low-scoring encounter, St.Phillips dismissed Castle Hill for 122 and despite a few anxious moments early, managed to eclipse their target for the loss of five wickets. It was a great way for St. Phillips Turramurra South to cap off their 40th anniversary celebrations in season 2014-15.

08.01.2022 The cricket world awoke this morning to the news of the passing of Australian Test legend Arthur Morris, aged 93. Arthur Morris played 46 tests for Australia as an opening batsman, notching 3533 runs at an average of 46.49, with twelve centuries, including a score of 196 on the afternoon that Sir Donald Bradman was dismissed for nought in his last innings in Test Cricket at The Oval in 1948. Morris formed one part of a formidable opening partnership with Sid Barnes during the... era of The Invincibles, the pair notching a century opening stand every 4.3 innings, still the best of any Australian opening combination. Morris was Australias 24th Test Captain, and until his death overnight, was the oldest living Australian Test Cricketer. Hell remain a national treasure forever. May he Rest in Peace.
