12.01.2022 Marginal housing during COVID-19 A new report released today by researchers from The University of Sydney and UNSW Sydney examines the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on health and housing risks in marginal and informal housing, as well as any changes to the demand and supply of short-term rental (STR) housing during COVID-19. The report found that residents of ‘informal’ and marginal tenuresparticularly those living in substandard or overcrowded rental accommodation...may face additional health risks in the context of COVID-19.
