06.01.2022 -- Under 16 Match Report Round 3 -- On Sunday, August 2, the Churchill Braves made the early morning trek to Sale to take on the Rangers in a rematch of the previous seasons Grand Final. The Braves started the game well as they walked their way around the bases to collect their five runs and a healthy lead.... With Rhys pitching, two strikeouts and a caught stealing saw Sale only answer with two runs of their own. The Braves wasted no time in the second, continuing where they left off and quickly accumulating another four runs. The Rangers bats fired up in the second as they were able to score their five runs without the Braves recording an out. The Rangers batters all managed to find holes in the field and were helped along by errors in the outfield. The Braves continued their patience in the box as the tally of reaching via base-on-balls increased to 14. With time dwindling and the Braves ahead by 6, 2019 Under 13 MVP Jarrod took to the mound for the first time in Under 16s. The Rangers werent able to get the runs in time however and Braves went home victorious.

04.01.2022 With baseball suspended indefinitely once again, let's look back. What are some of your favourite memories of the Braves?

02.01.2022 MATCH REPORT - UNDER 13 ROUND THREE On Saturday, the Braves looked to continue their season on the right foot in the rematch of last seasons Grand Final. The Braves started strong scoring two in the first with Jarrod getting the first of his game-high three stolen bases.... Jack pitched for the Braves to start the match and kept the Redsox scoreless through his two innings of work accumulating four strikeouts in the process. The Braves added to their total in the third and fourth. In the third, a groundout from Connor scored Jack while the fourth saw Bladen single to score Liam before crossing the plate after a drop-third strike saw Lachlan D reach safely. Traralgons lone run came in the bottom of the fourth when Redsock Tom ground out to shortstop but scored Harrison in doing so. Harrison went on to pitch the fifth for the Redsox and despite a quick 3-up, 3-down half inning, the team didnt have enough time to mount a comeback. Churchill Braves came out victorious 5-1 in a classic!
