For those of you unaware, late July, we not only took over as Management of a hotel, but we have been keeping our business going at its usual pace as well, which has been a HUGE undertaking. As such, we are having a much deserved week off from Christmas Day to New Year’s Day. If your regular service falls in this week, we are either making every effort to complete it now or have rescheduled you for the first week of January. 08.01.2022 Well, its been a year.... Its been a long year.... Its been a very hard but rewarding year....... Thank you to all of our customers for letting us loose on you lawn. 04.01.2022 Spring has sprung! Unfortunately, so has parts on our commercial ride on mower, at the worst possible time! Wed really appreciate your patience while this problem is fixed and the motor is reconditioned. Rob will be push mowing lawns and without this vital piece of equipment for about a week which means that yes, we will be quite behind in the schedule for a week or two. 04.01.2022 This time of year can be a difficult time with hot weather and fire danger periods. For those that are unaware, if the temperature is above 40 degrees we cant mow. This can be how grass fires are spread as sparks can fly from the mower or grass can catch fire in the motor. Mowing in this temperature will also cause heat stress/heat stroke. Unfortunately, taking a break in the heat causes clients jobs to back up and become delayed. We are also both volunteer fire fighters. ...On days of very high to extreme fire danger, we may be at our Brigade shed waiting for response as part of a strike team to protect our community. Also, cutting your lawns too short in summer can kill them. It scalps the lawn and exposes vulnerable roots to hot sun where they burn and die. If you feel your lawn is not short enough, we will happily cut it shorter at your request, however we will not take responsibility for the results. We are asking you all to please be patient with us this time of year. If we have you on a regular schedule, we have not forgotten you! We are doing our very best to keep your lawns looking fabulous!
