25.01.2022 This is a video of our Bible study from Sunday, April 12, 2020 - West End Church of Christ, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I sure do miss all you dear Brethren in Bundy, and all my dear brethren throughout Queensland. May our God watch over you all, and keep you safe and well. https://drive.google.com//1mi6MRGhzhvHr8YSnv8epgdWys/view

20.01.2022 This is a great reminder, whatever country you happen to live in: By Doy Moyer ... Reminders for a political season (mostly for me): ... 1. We are not baptized into a political party, but into Christ. This sets our priority. 2. Only Christ, not a party, is to be sanctified in our hearts as Lord (1 Pet 3:15). There is no competition for Lordship. If there is, we are guilty of idolatry. 3. The Christian’s identity is wrapped up in Christ, not in a party or human. To live is Christ (Phil 1:21; Col 3:4). 4. No party or other person has been crucified for us. Nor are we crucified with or for a party, but only Christ (Gal 2:20). Our only boasting is in the cross (Gal 6:14). 5. Liberty for the Christian is not ultimately determined by the state, but by the Lord, who governs all. This is true regardless of what government does. 6. Don’t lend support to what is clearly immoral, whether it be a person, a platform, or a party. 7. Let Scripture guide our thinking in all matters related to everything. 8. If we believe this world is not our home, then we must not make our home inside of worldly agendas (1 John 2:15-17). 9. Submit to governing authorities, pray for leaders, use freedom as servants of God (Rom 13; 1 Tim 2:1-4; 1 Pet 2:13-17) 10. Do good, be kind, love others, including enemies, and set your mind on things above (Rom 12:9-21; Col 3:2; Phil 4:8).

16.01.2022 This is a Bible study that I presented this morning for brethren in Hyderabad, India (and surrounding villages). It was an amazing experience and it meant a great deal to me to continue work that my dear dad was so passionate about. It was a joy to spend time with brethren in a city that I love and to use an interpreter again. Our modern technology can be used for such wonderful things. All glory to God for such blessings as this...

09.01.2022 It won’t be long before we can meet together again, but in the meantime we can appreciate the never-changing Word if God and the profound way the God of the universe has communicated with us. It isn’t hard to obey His Word

09.01.2022 This is the last sermon I ever heard my dad, Jack Maddocks, deliver. I hope it encourages you as much as it does me. How I miss him. https://drive.google.com//1ktfutfYArubNaLcq19IMO6pbF/view

08.01.2022 Romans 10 v11 It is just as the Scripture says: Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame. 12For there is no difference between Jew and Greek: The same Lord is Lord of all, and gives richly to all who call on Him, 13for, Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. 14How then can they call on the One in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach? 15A...nd how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news! 16But not all of them welcomed the good news. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our message? 17Consequently, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. All are welcome to join us at 141A Targo St as we listen to the Scriptures and do our best to follow our Lord Jesus Christ. We meet at 9.30 am Sunday to sing, pray, give, learn and remember the death and resurrection of Jesus.

03.01.2022 Are you part of the problem or the solution?

03.01.2022 Even though we are separated, some of our members still found a way to sing together! We hope you are encouraged by this message of God’s grace!
