18.01.2022 If you’ve been in to see us in the last 4 months, you’ll notice that we’ve updated our confirmation system so we can run triage before you even leave the house for your appointment. Instead of replying ‘yes’ to confirm, you’ll need to click on the embedded link, and follow the prompts. If you can’t get things working or you’re not on a smartphone, our admin team will guide you through it over the phone!

18.01.2022 How do eScripts work? We’ve put together a short video to show you! Took a look here:

16.01.2022 Wishing we didn’t have to start the New Year like this, but looks like we’ll be doing this for a while longer...! Thank Sydney Local Health District for keeping these clinics going over the holidays!!!

15.01.2022 We’ll closed on Monday, 5th October for the Labour Day Public Holiday. Back to normal from Tuesday, 6th October. Stay safe this Long weekend!

14.01.2022 "I don't think it's COVID..." Unless you've been tested in the last SEVEN (7) days, that's not a risk worth taking. The current cluster that's been identified in the Northern Beaches should be a reminder of the importance of getting tested the moment you start to experience ANY symptoms - it moves quickly, easily and often silently, which means we need to take whatever precautions we reasonably can. With many of the restrictions lifted because we'd made difficult decisions ea...rlier, it's easy to get complacent...but we're not out of the woods. The vaccine is close, but it's not here (yet). If you're experiencing ANY of: - fever - shortness of breath - cough - sore throat - runny nose - changes in sense of taste/smell then GET TESTED and re-tested - doesn't matter if you're 4 or 40. You may not feel the brunt of it, but if you somehow pass it on to the vulnerable members of the community or your family, they very well may. At our end, we're still running Telehealth and will do so until you hear otherwise to make sure you don't lose access to care while you're waiting for results. Please stay safe over the holidays: wear a mask, maintain social distance, wash your hands. We got that number down to zero before, we can do out again! (photos courtesy of NSW Health)

13.01.2022 More cases outside the Northern Beaches (venues in St Peters, Erskineville and Homebush, as well as public transport routes). Please follow the advice of NSW Health - if you’re worried about queues for testing, use this link (https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/Infectio//Pages/clinics.aspx) to custom search for drive thru or walk in, referral or not, after or before hours. If you’ve got any symptoms, please get tested!

11.01.2022 Today was ‘R U OK’ Day (which, in the current climate, becomes an even more important question 9 months into COVID). We know that right now, there are a lot of folks feeling fragile, vulnerable and alone, and at a time when isolation and distancing are still both our most effective tools in stopping the spread of COVID, while also exacerbating those feelings of being alone and helpless. While we’re still a ways off from solving COVID, we can still be here for you - in perso...n, over the phone or with telehealth. Just know that you’re not alone, and we’re here for you, and will be here to ask ‘are you OK’, and the conversation that follows. From the Team @CSMP. And if you need anything else, these folks are here for you, too: https://www.lifeline.org.au/ https://beyondblue.org.au/

11.01.2022 We’ll be closed for a Practice Development activity from 1-2:30pm TODAY (Friday, 23rd October). You can still book, order scripts and referrals and results follow-up through the website at www.churchstreetmedical.com.au!

11.01.2022 Stay safe, folks: 1.5m social distancing, masks, regular hand washing, and if there’s a runny nose, cough, sore throat, fever or shortness of breath = test. And test again. There’ll be a time when we can hug, meet up in groups and enjoy that special sense of community and physical closeness, but (sadly) that time isn’t now. We can’t get complacent or fatigued - we’ve got too many examples around the world of what happens when we do.

07.01.2022 We haven't posted in a while, but we hope you're all staying safe - especially now that some of the restrictions have been lifted on gatherings and public activities! We'll be closed for a few days over the Christmas and New Year periods (see photo). We hope that despite everything that 2020 has brought with it, you can enjoy some time with loved ones over the break - we'll be here if you need us! From the Team @ CSMP!

05.01.2022 This is Lucas - he had a COVID swab this morning since he woke up with a bit of a blocked nose and a cough. I’ll be honest - it wasn’t pleasant. But it’s still necessary.... Even if the risk is low, you’ve not been in a hotspot or been in contact with a confirmed case, if you’ve got ANY respiratory symptoms, GET TESTED. The folks in Sydney Local Health District have numerous drive-thru or walk-in locations to get tested, and results are in fairly quickly now, too! If you need to find a testing location, head to our website at www.churchstreetmedical.com.au and click on the BLUE button. Don’t forget that once you’re tested, you need to self-isolate until your results are NEGATIVE!
