25.01.2022 We talk about the need for high quality photos on social media, and we talk about it a LOT. Why? Because: 93% of human communication is visual, so your visuals need to be clear and appealing.... 67% of consumers think a clear, detailed image is more reliable than product info or customer feedback It’s just nicer to look at? Do you use high quality pics for your brand? And if not, what’s stopping you? via the amazing @summer_svenson over on Instagram.

24.01.2022 Going forward, it's going to be 2 (maybe 3!) days from Haymarket HQ for us and the rest from the home office, [and the occasional cafe meeting!] Here are a few tips I found to be pretty useful when it comes to working from home and keeping it profesh' for Chutzpah HQ! Definitely need to work on tip #5 [montserrat, maybe?] Would love to know what's a tip you've already found useful during the quarantine period (which is now thankfully, changing)... Thanks to Balance The Grind for this post!

23.01.2022 {What Can Big Tech Platforms Do?} Today, a massive amount of research about where to spend and how starts in three places: on Google’s search engine and on the largest social media networks: YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. These properties alone account for more than 2/3rds of all web traffic. They have the power to shift where consumer demand online is driven, and how. Some great ideas from Rand Fishkin on how small business and individuals can take action and move forward in a time like this.

23.01.2022 You heard right. Chutzpah Creative is getting a website (and it’s coming soon!) One thing I’ve learnt throughout this whole process is how important it is to not only have a website, but to have a GOOD one. Aside from social media, it’s often your customer-to-be’s first point of contact. It’s where they get a sense of who you are, find out what you’re offering and make (or solidify) their decision to invest!... I’m thrilled to soon (FINALLY!) be able to point everyone to my brand new website, instead of ctrl+c’ing and ctrl+v’ing my services into ALL of those DMs (I love the DM life, but is it time consuming or what!). Who’s excited to see it?

22.01.2022 Today: Deeply honouring our front-line workers across the world. As we self-isolate, they tend to the aching, the anxious and overwhelmed. Those of us who’ve been directly affected. So much respect and love for you who show up to work, selflessly, every day. Through lack of equipment, desolate conditions and a ongoing crisis of leadership. ... The ones holding these flailing realms of ‘society’. Weary but not broken. Harbingers of hope. Angels in the flesh. Never have I ever been this inspired, and never this much in awe. I thank you. We thank you. image from @jd.moha

21.01.2022 Value is one of those things you can’t skimp on in the land of digital. There is SO much content out there to compete with, so not only does it need to compete visually (because who doesn’t love an aesthetic feed!), it needs to give your audience a little something extra! You might be asking, but Fay, HOW do I do this? The answer? ... You dig deep into your wealth of knowledge. You take your expertise, all of those good tips and tricks you have up your sleeve, and use those to start a conversation with your audience. It’s that easy. And if you’re looking for a place to start? Go to your FAQs and turn those into content How do you add value to the feed?

20.01.2022 Another update from IG? Yes! #newfeature After IG Stories and the latest Reels, we now have Instagram Guides, a new feature to share content. It's all about allowing the user to access a more 'curated' flow of posts which is a better option for things like guides, tips and recommendations. Check out the latest in the link below:

19.01.2022 Uh oh. Your content is flatlining. Your engagement is non-existent. You’re not even sure why you show up on socials anymore, because you’re just not getting any results. Before you go panic-buying all the social media e-books and short courses, first make sure it’s not the simple stuff holding you down. Here’s a checklist: Make sure your content (images, graphics, etc) are high quality... Make your captions INTERESTING Add value to your content Add a call to action. In other words, ASK your followers to do/say/think something. And if you’re still uninspired? Why not book in for a content strategy session? We’ll go through what’s not working, why it’s all going wrong and what we can do to get you back on track!

18.01.2022 REFLECTION // At the end of any given day, how do you know whether it was successful? I count it a win if I’ve connected with someone and learned something new...or when I’ve challenged myself to uplevel! Also - when know I tried my best with a work / project OR I have less than 4 things remaining on my to-do list! ... But in the bigger picture, I love what I do, because it means I get to carve out more time with family, invest in self-care so I am better able to handle life’s stresses, be creative and follow my joy and show up for others when they need me. Success is more about being able to be present to my life, and create positive experiences for myself and the world around me Some Contemplation along with this afternoon’s coffee

18.01.2022 Does your business host events as your main source of income? Facebook is launching a new paid events option in order to provide another way for businesses to generate direct income amid the COVID-19 crisis. As explained by Facebook:... "With social distancing mandates still in place, many businesses and creators are bringing their events and services online to connect with existing customers and reach new ones. [...] By combining marketing, payment and live video, paid online events to meet the end-to-end needs of businesses. Pages can host events on Facebook Live to reach broad audiences, and we’re testing paid events with Messenger Rooms for more personal and interactive gatherings." https://www.socialmediatoday.com//facebook-adds-ne/583580/

18.01.2022 Hi guys, Fay here. As the COVID-19 news updates continue, and we adapt to changing work and life situations, let's all remember to be kind to each other, knowing that we're all in this together and that it's going to take a collective effort to make impactful change. In the last few days, having many important events and plans cancelled, I've been so grateful for family and friends who continue to huddle together in our online forums (thanks, WhatsApp) to find some semblanc...e of normalcy in what seems like shifting sands in every moment. #virtualhugs I know that many of us are experiencing the unfolding situation in different ways. In the next few days, this page will be a place where work updates are shared, from home (#socialdistancing well and truly begun)... but this is also going to be a space to intentionally re-align with positivity, get inspired by our global community, share acts of kindness, and also a forum to connect with each other. We are still very much operational - although for the next week it's going be a #WFH situation - please feel free to reach out to [email protected] with any queries and also if you're weary of being isolated and need someone to talk to! because #quarantinelife Much love and positivity your way xo + Photo by Road Trip with Raj on Unsplash +

17.01.2022 When you’re busy running a business, making time for family and finding a bit of me-time in amongst the chaos, posting to social media is the LAST thing on your mind. This is why we are oh-so-fond of content batching, which is where you block out some time in your week (or month) to whip up all your content. You sit down with an XL coffee (or tea, or wine, we’re not here to judge ), think about what your audience WANT to hear from you and create accordin...gly. We’re all about content batching because it prevents the usual typo-ridden chaos of creating content on the fly, adds structure to your content and ensures you’re putting out content that ACTUALLY adds value to your audience. Say goodbye to purposeless, typo-riddled content Say hello to content batching Have you tried it? See more

16.01.2022 *Happy dances all over the office* *Faints from shock* *Collects self*... Great idea. I’ll get to work on a strategy right away.

16.01.2022 I’m not crying, you’re crying

16.01.2022 You can count on that, for sure!

16.01.2022 Link building and SEO...you cannot know enough! Found some great nuggets of wisdom from this Moz blog post. It's a series (video) I'm going to follow! #digitalmarketing

16.01.2022 Happy #Monday! ...and #HappyNewMonth #March2020 Content Stategy and content marketing are 2 of the main things this business offers as services. So what's the difference and how can you apply this? ... This post from the talented folk at Search Engine Journal encapsulates and outlines the essence of what CS is how it's the roadmap to creating {successful} returns from your marketing #contentstrategy #contentmarketing #business

16.01.2022 Happy Monday! Here's a powerful thought for your morning...and maybe for reflection. "Failures are definitely the milestones for success. I 'try' to fail at least once a day - I welcome it, and LEARN from it. I feel stronger and better from each small failure that comes my way" - Adi Azaria, CEO at Workiz... This one thing I know - your attitude towards failure, and towards things that don't work out? It's the very thing that propels you to your next 'success'. Great interview from monday.com / Startup for Startup

15.01.2022 Imagination, hope, creativity these are all things that will help us not only have a competitive advantage moving forward, but develop more human, meaningful and personalised human experiences. Nothing says human centered like putting the human front and centre, making them the very epicentre of why you do what you do every day. How they feel after you engage them is how you measure your work. https://www.briansolis.com//redefining-the-human-centred-/

14.01.2022 Who’s had a profound impact on your life and how did you meet? For me, in my business (and life!) I’m lucky to be part of a (beyond) amazing business community. The funny thing about how I ended up here was through an event that I almost missed, but eventually made it! It was called "Formidable Female Founders" and featured 3 amazing, talented and true to it's title, 'formidable' women. ... That day led me to making some connections that not only helped kickstart this business successfully, but inspired me to learn from the stories and work of the people around me. Never underestimate the power of coincidences! They're often a nudge in the right direction :) #serendipity #1yearofChutzpahCreativeinSydney

14.01.2022 From everything I've read so far about Creativity, this one's probably one of my favourites! Creativity isn't about perfection; it's about expression. In ancient times, the Greeks had a belief that all... inspiration, (be it for art or science) was provided to mankind via ‘The Nine Muses’, and one would need to entice them in order for them to deliver that inspiration or NOTHING new could be created! I find that concept fascinating and in the spirit of calling forth my own creative muse, here are a few things that help me find my creative flow: Take long walks, dance, exercise or move any way you like! Look at the same old things from a new perspective. Get inspired by other great artists of the past! [think Van Gogh, Monet or Raphael] Try new things without expecting them to be perfect. NO judgement allowed Allow yourself to make mistakes, treat yourself with kindness. Be YOU. I know there's always the temptation to compare yourself to other creators! But only you can bring out that creative flow in your work - if you allow it. Sleep: yes, sleep. Sometimes all you need to be inspired is a solid nap. Read: Feeding my with new ideas on the daily! How do you find your creative flow?

12.01.2022 How many times have you used content, images, and even others' ideas and not given due credit? At some point of time, we've all done this, knowingly or unknowingly! "Intellectual property is a topic that's so easy to ignore, yet it's paramount to have a foundation of understanding so you can protect yourself and your work". How do we change the culture? Not with shame, but through kindness, patience, and holding each other accountable. It won’t happen overnight, but if we a...t least start tonight, then tomorrow is more promising. Loved reading this timely reminder from CreativeMornings content channel "Own your Content" on treating another person's work with respect and consideration.

11.01.2022 Let’s just get this out in the open: digital marketing can be a LOT. You’re expected to be a graphic designer, videographer, copywriter and business strategist, to name a few. Of course, I wouldn’t trade it, but it takes time to learn, re-learn and stay up to date on all of the latest practices. So, as a digital marketer, it’s VITAL to have some tools in your box that saves you time and, in the long run, money.... My go to's are: Sprout Social - for all your reporting, tracking and social media manager needs Planoly - for the best Instagram scheduling #ever Acuity - for scheduling calls and meetings Trello - for ALL things project management Final Cut Pro - My Go-To Video editing program Canva - for everything Design! Google Drive - need I say more? Coffee machine - for those long nights and early mornings of hustling! What are yours?

11.01.2022 SO many good things. For us? We have a website coming (and we can’t WAIT to share it with you!). For our country? Our COVID numbers are coming down and we’re working, slowly but surely, towards a COVID normal.... For our world? Our ever-lasting fight for change. Whether it’s women’s rights, racial justice, climate change or the recent rise in women-led business? Someone, somewhere, is joining you in the fight. There are a lot of no-good things happening, too - we’re not naive to this fact. But when you look at all the good? We just KNOW we’re at least, somewhere and somehow, contributing to good. via @thepeachyrebel on IG See more

08.01.2022 When you go out and see the empty streets, the empty stadiums, the empty train platforms, don't say to yourself, 'It looks like the end of the world. What you're seeing in that negative space, is how much you care for each other, for our grandparents, for our immune-compromised brothers and sisters, for people we will never meet. It isn't the end of the world. It is the most remarkable act of global solidarity we may ever witness. - anon

07.01.2022 As the digital transformation of healthcare has rapidly developed from the disruption caused by COVID-19, Telehealth has grown by leaps and bounds. 07.01.2022 If you’re not in the content marketing arena, the idea of putting energy into content might feel like . And if you’re not ready to outsource, you’re probably left feeling that x20000. 07.01.2022 Morning routines set you up SO well for the day, don’t you think? I start mine off with a morning walk and a good sesh with my gratitude journal. It’s where I reflect on what I’m grateful for and set my intention for the day, so that I’ve got my head in the right space to get to work! Then? I sit down with a coffee and a scroll (of the internet kind, of course ). I’m over on Instagram, building those relationships, on websites reading the blogs, and in my inbox reading up o...n the latest digital marketing news! Then, by the time I’m diving into client work, I’m caffeinated, educated and filled with gratitude for what I’m about to do. How do you start your day off on the right foot?

06.01.2022 It’s SO important to set up your workspace to work for you. Whether you need it clean and minimalist, or filled to the brim with all things bright and colourful, you need to make it a place you look forward to working from every day This beautiful snap from Melanie Johnsson over on the ‘gram is just about my dream workspace. A little bit of greenery, a few great books and a pop of colour that’d bring joy to any room. What does your dream workspace look like?

06.01.2022 CLIENT WORK // Starting this week with a bit of a celebratory post! So pleased to have completed a project with Lara Nercessian from @bossinheels_ Lara has recently created an amazing resource for self development, uplevelling your life and being your best self. She approached Chutzpah Creative to create her first opt-in, and this was an absolute honour to create! Check it out in our link in bio. It's filled with goodness and it's more of a work book and practic...al guide rather than something that is just preachy. Loved working on this for you, Lara and we can’t wait to see you progress, grow and make more amazing things happen! Cheering from Chutzpah HQ all the way!

05.01.2022 Celebrated this talented and amazing woman launching her company Amped Up Marketing & Comms as a Pty Ltd...Natalie, I’m so excited for you and cheering for you all the way

05.01.2022 Sorry, I just thought I saw a unicorn fly past my window. Can you repeat that?

03.01.2022 Say whaaaat? It’s terms like these that create a HUGE barrier for people DIY’ing their own digital ads. So, we thought we’d break them down for you CTR: Click through rate. It’s the % of people who saw your ad that actually clicked on it. It’s a great way to see if your ad content is interesting, but if your goal is conversions? ROAS are where it’s AT. ... ROAS: Return on ad spend. This is how much $$ you make per dollar spent on your ad. This is the metric that tells you whether your ad was worth the investment. This is the one you REALLY need to keep an eye on if your investing in ads purely for profit. What metrics do you track for your ads?

03.01.2022 Content Creation and Content Marketing are two different things, the first is about making the content and the latter about making the content discoverable. Vital difference! Check out the article to get a better idea of the content marketing journey and what happens after you hit "publish" :) ... [Article Sourced from the team at Search Engine Journal]

03.01.2022 Trying to beat that pesky old imposter syndrome? I feel you. It’s the biggest hindrance to ANY business, especially in the digital space where it’s SO evident that there are: So many others out there doing what you do, and... They’re doing a REALLY good job So when you have an out of the box idea (our favourites), or you want to try something a little bit out of the ordinary, you’re held back by the fear that it’s not what others are doing so it won’t work/you’ll look a little bit silly. This is your reminder that out of the box thinking is good. Trying new things is GOOD. If you have a new thing to try, give it a whirl, girl! Just see where those brilliant ideas take you. via the fantastic @artsyaffirmations on Instagram
