22.01.2022 Indooroopilly Shopping Centre has this afternoon received confirmation from Metro North Public Health that two customers, who have tested positive to Coronaviru...s, visited the centre on Monday 17 August between 11am-1pm and Wednesday 19 August between 1pm-4pm. Stores the customers visited include Origin Kebab and Bupa Health on 17 August, and David Jones, Myer, Sweets from Heaven and Touch of India on 19 August. Whilst awaiting confirmation from Metro North Public Health overnight, (Saturday 22 August) Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, through our service providers, conducted a deep clean and disinfected the Centre with the focus on key areas such as hard surfaces, food courts and bathrooms. The affected stores have also conducted a deep clean. Upon confirmation by Metro North Public Health this afternoon, a memo was circulated to all of our retail partners. Indooroopilly Shopping Centre has not yet appeared on the official list from Queensland Health at this stage, however, we have chosen to share this information with our community as soon as confirmation was received. We expect to be added to the official list in the coming hours. Metro North Public Health have advised people if you become or have already become unwell with any symptoms of COVID-19, please isolate yourself and get tested. The health and safety of our customers and retailers continues to be our primary focus. We will continue to monitor this issue and if there is any change in advice, we will notify our valued retailers and customers as appropriate.

14.01.2022 Hey Queensland This weekend, new restrictions are coming into place that will enable you to travel within a 50km radius of your home for recreational purposes..., but it's not time to be complacent. We need your help to ensure we don't undo all of progress we have made so far. If you go out this weekend, please make sure you are: Socially distancing at all times Practising good hygiene Only going out with your family or as an individual with one friend + Staying within a 50kms radius of your home If everyone continues to follow the current restrictions and we keep seeing less cases, further restrictions may be lifted. But, if we dont follow these measures, we may see more restrictions put in place to help keep Queenslanders safe.

11.01.2022 If you own and rent a unit or lot in a strata managed complex, you might be tempted to think that the insurance your body corporate pays on your behalf (Strata Insurance) will protect you against loss of rent and property damage from tenants. DONT MAKE THIS MISTAKE! Many Landlords have found out the hard way why this is an expensive mistake to make. Strata Insurance and Landlord Insurance serve two very different purposes and in this article we outline exactly why landlords... will need both! http://sskb.com.au/landlords-insurance-in-a-strata-complex/

06.01.2022 What is Strata? A strata community is the name given to people who live in a strata-titled building. A strata title is a legal structure designed for apartment... buildings, townhouse complexes. It even extends to industrial parks, office buildings and shopping centres. When you purchase in a strata-titled building, youve not just bought an apartment or a lot, but youve also bought part of the building itself and all the associated common areas (such as hallways or facilities such as a swimming pool or a lift). Owners are responsible for the maintenance of their own lot and the upkeep of all of the common areas as well. Depending in which state you live in, a strata community may be referred to as: -- A Body Corporate, or; -- An Owners Corporation Find out more!
