24.01.2022 The Toora Op Shop is run by many volunteers and some are in the vulnerable category for the Corona Virus. As a consequence the Op Shop may not be able to be open as usual. We hope you will be understanding of this situation. We also ask that if you are unwell or may be infected by the virus please do not enter the Op Shop and put our volunteers at risk. We thank you for your understanding during these difficult times.

21.01.2022 Hooray! We now have approval and the Toora Op Shop will open this Friday and Saturday 10 am to 2pm. Restrictions due to covid will apply. Only 2 customers in the shop at any one time.... Only one volunteer helper will be working. We have sanitiser so customers will need to sanitise when entering the shop. Please bring change so we can limit the handling of cash. Please wash all purchases when you return home. Please maintain social distancing at all times. We are only a small shop so we hope you will adhere to these rules so we can protect everyone and keep open. At the moment our volunteer roster will not apply as we are only using a few volunteers that have been trained on the new rules. If you wish to volunteer let Coral or Rachel know. Thank you and we hope to see you.

20.01.2022 Message from Tim Sunday arrangements 22nd March I have waited till the last minute to collect the most recent advise from Diocese.... There will be services tomorrow at Toora 9am and Foster 10:30. I suspect and hope that those who are most at risk will choose not to come. Both services will be communion services but no elements (bread/wine) will be distributed. Neither service will have morning tea served afterwards. At both services people will be asked when they come to sit in isolation (except couples/families) There will be no sharing of peace The Op shop has closed and Mainly Music has stopped for the term. I suspect that all services may be cancelled by next week. I will initiate a meeting with parish counsellors to discuss further options later in the coming week. Turning Christ Church Foster interior sideways would give us more space to ensure correct separation. The attendance numbers at Toora are presently suitable for the building. I suspect we should prepare some plans for how to celebrate Easter in the current restrictions. Tragically those who are most at risk, are often those who most require human contact, to have little human contact and no physical contact is a very serious circumstance. This is also a huge blow to the parish finances. Feel free to forward emails on to others. Many thanks Tim
