08.01.2022 In my time with horses, floating has never been the most enjoyable but what I have come to learn is that it is not the trailer but rather the person in the trailer that the horse is concerned with. In offering the horse a safe and comfortable space to be, he will quite willingly choose to be with you. This is Tommo’s first floating session with me. He went from being completely unable to load to self-loading and self-unloading. I am so proud of this horse and the trust and confidence that he displayed in me. I feel so honoured and blessed to work with these magnificent souls as a living PS. A massive Happy New Year from us here at #HarmonyWithHorses May 2021 be a little kinder to us all x

02.01.2022 Step up, or step out First time out with my little man Roper Thank you so much WAQHA for hosting such a great event. As many of you witnessed, Ropes definitely had a lot to process with being a stallion and having no exposure to mares, in addition to experiencing all that is involved with the show world and various elements not in our favour, particularly the weather!! And in the moments of adversity, I couldn’t help myself but laugh and just enjoy the whole experience. W...e came for the experience and that’s exactly what we achieved. I am so proud of this little muppet and how well he has accepted his training. Considering that only a few months ago he was not as much as halter trained, he has done #TeamHarmony super proud! I want to take this opportunity to thank my pit crew for all that you do. Thank you for minding the BFG and Dingo so that they could come out to the show, thank you for helping me stay calm, making sure I got my coffee and breaky into me and for keeping Roper and I well presented. I love you all so much and I couldn’t have done it without you. Also I want to take this time to thank my fellow competitors for your constant support, sportsmanship and friendship xo PS. 02.01.2022 Another show weekend down! Roper’s first time out did not go exactly to plan with the weather and other variables against us but we achieved what we set out to achieve. We got on the float, and we got huge exposure/experience and above all just had fun! And truly, that’s what it is all about...For the love of the horse over the love of the sport. My horsemanship and handling was definitely tested to the limit and in front of a a large audience. I am simultaneously humbled and proud of the entire experience, my abilities, my horses and of course #TeamHarmony for your first class help #HarmonyWithHorses Thank you so much to all of my fellow competitors at WAQHA and Western community especially @cross_93 and @jacinta_bolsenbroek for your support and encouragement.
